Lakshmi playfully stops him and insists they repeat the act, citing a superstition about avoiding bad luck. Amused, Rishi complies, much to the embarrassment of Karishma and Aanchal, who are observing the scene. Rishi smugly signals to them, enjoying their discomfort, before they hurriedly leave.
Later, Malishka approaches Rishi to apologize for pressuring him to choose between her and Lakshmi. However, Rishi sarcastically remarks that he might as well inform Lakshmi about his “resolution” with Malishka. His sarcasm frustrates Malishka, and she storms off, feeling slighted. Meanwhile, Shalu confides in Ayush about her suspicions regarding Malishka’s intentions, suggesting they uncover the truth by stealing her phone. Ayush agrees, eager to help.
Rishi confronts Malishka again, accusing her of harboring ill intentions. Though Malishka tries to brush it off as a joke, Rishi challenges her sincerity, declaring that while he may have hurt Lakshmi unintentionally, he has never wronged Malishka deliberately. His words leave Malishka flustered and defensive.
Kiran interrupts the confrontation with a drink for Rishi, but Malishka intervenes, claiming it isn’t necessary and taking the drink away. In private, Kiran scolds Malishka for deviating from their plan, reminding her that everything is proceeding as planned. Malishka insists on being cautious, suggesting a waiter serve the spiked drink instead of giving it directly to Rishi to avoid suspicion. Kiran agrees to the adjustment.
Elsewhere, Shalu notices Ayush is troubled and tries to reassure him, though he can’t shake a feeling of impending doom. They spot Malishka and enact their plan. Ayush deliberately collides with her, swapping her phone with his while she is distracted. Malishka becomes suspicious upon seeing Shalu nearby, recalling Kiran’s warning that Shalu might interfere with their scheme.
Meanwhile, Balwinder lurks around, keeping an eye on Lakshmi. His infatuation with her grows as he admires her from afar. When Malishka spots him in disguise, she approaches and signals him to follow her. She instructs Balwinder to watch Shalu closely and ensure Lakshmi stays away from Rishi, though she avoids sharing full details of her plan.
In the kitchen, Kiran prepares the spiked drink for Rishi. Abhay walks in and grows suspicious when Kiran stops him from tasting the juice. Their tense interaction catches Aanchal’s attention, who later remarks on the façade of relationships in their household. She compares them to the genuine bond she perceives between Lakshmi and Rishi, a sentiment overheard by Lakshmi.
Lakshmi’s selfless nature comes to the forefront as she prepares food for a diabetic guest. Balwinder watches her lovingly, daydreaming about her kindness. Meanwhile, Kiran hands the spiked drink to a waiter, instructing him to ensure Rishi consumes it. When the waiter serves Rishi, he initially refuses but caves in after Kiran insists. Oblivious to the manipulation, Rishi drinks the juice and comments on its good taste before finishing it.
