She criticizes the Shahs for claiming that Mahi contributes nothing, emphasizing that she had asked Mahi to rest, but Mahi’s dedication and hard work are unstoppable. Anupama highlights how Mahi stepped up after Anu’s departure, filling the void in her life. She expresses deep gratitude, stating that no one else could have done what Mahi did for her and that she could even sacrifice her life for Mahi if needed.
Aadhya, however, accuses Anupama of being hypocritical, arguing that Anupama only pretends to care for everyone while prioritizing Mahi in her heart. Aadhya confronts Anupama with a tough question—if faced with a choice, whom would she pick between Mahi and Aadhya? The Shah family pressures Anupama to answer, and after much hesitation, Anupama names Mahi.
Hurt by Anupama’s response, Aadhya declares that she had been foolish to even ask, as the answer was obvious. She accuses Anupama of always prioritizing others over her and dismissing her feelings. Anupama defends herself, explaining that Mahi has been her support system in Aadhya and Anuj’s absence, but Aadhya refuses to listen. Angry and heartbroken, Aadhya decides to leave the Shah house permanently, offering to repay any monetary debts owed to Anupama. Anupama urges Aadhya to stay calm, warning her against making impulsive decisions in anger that could lead to lifelong regret.
Meanwhile, Prem plays the flute, and Anupama is momentarily reminded of Anuj. Aadhya, drawn to the music, requests Prem to continue playing and opens up about her frustrations. She thanks Prem for tolerating her emotions and seeks his advice. Prem encourages Aadhya to try to understand Anupama’s perspective. Despite this, Aadhya remains resolute in her decision to leave, asking Prem for help in repaying Anupama as soon as possible. She also extends a hand of friendship to Prem, who agrees to support her. While Aadhya and Prem bond over music, Mahi notices them together and is visibly shocked.
In another scene, the Shah family prepares a surprise for Ansh. However, Ansh grows impatient, waiting for Aadhya, Prem, and Anupama to join. Anupama informs Ansh that she has urgent work and needs to leave, sparking concern among the family. Aadhya questions whether Anupama is leaving the house permanently. Before leaving, Anupama warns the Shahs to avoid conflicts in her absence, and Mahi resolves to update her regularly. Anupama remains tight-lipped about her destination, revealing only her apprehension about possibly returning to Dwarka.
Before departing, Anupama meets Janki and entrusts her with looking after Aadhya. Janki reassures her, promising to take care of the situation. Meanwhile, Aadhya dismisses Anupama’s actions, sarcastically remarking that Anupama has a “disease” of always trying to appear noble and great.
