As the party continues, Aditya surprises everyone with an announcement, asking for patience before revealing a surprise. Appu excitedly runs toward Jhanak, while Choton and Mrinalini also arrive and interact with her. Anjana asks Jhanak when she will return home permanently, and Mrinalini playfully comments that she can’t come back until Jhanak invites her.
At the party, Aditya announces in front of everyone, suggesting a marriage proposal. He reveals that he and Jhanak had planned some functions in their hometown and others in Mumbai. Dadi encourages them to marry, prompting Aditya to announce a small ceremony with Jhanak. He mentions that Jhanak had messaged him about settling with him, and he loves her deeply. Jhanak is shocked and confused, asking him about the messages. Aditya presents the chats as proof, and Dadi urges Jhanak not to be shy.
Jhanak denies sending the messages and calls it a bad joke. Shubh insults her, accusing her of using the situation for personal gain. Bipasha and Arshi join in, calling Jhanak a “failed person” and “disgusting.” Jhanak defends herself, stating that she didn’t send the messages. This leaves the situation unresolved, with Jhanak determined to stand her ground. She can’t believe how soon he turned her down and refused to trust her, just upon hearing wrong things about her when he was proposing her marriage a day before and promised lifetime companionship.
She is disheartened at his change that has shaken her beliefs. She says that she is glad to see Anirudh changing his colors, if she had accepted his proposal and married him, then he would have abandoned her for no reason, just by believing others speaking against her character. She rebukes Anirudh for breaking her trust and hope. She tells him that she has understood it and, she can’t depend on him, since he has no firm trust in her. She also refuses to marry Aditya and gets into a loveless marriage.
She rejects both Aditya and Anirudh, resolving to find a home for herself, where she finds none to haunt her. She says that she won’t take shelter in anyone’s house now, as the world is getting work to create an affair list to assassinate her character. She storms off to lead a life on her own. Tanuja and Anjana question the situation, but Jhanak remains firm, stating that the truth will eventually surface. Anirudh challenges her, claiming it’s impossible for someone to repeatedly send messages from her phone without her involvement. He taunts her to act quickly, revealing his family’s willingness to accept her for marriage. However, his comparison of Jhanak to Arshi triggers her anger, leading her to rebuke him for his fickleness and audacity.
Jhanak confronts Anirudh for devaluing her character and declares she is glad to have rejected him. She criticizes his lack of trustworthiness, while he counters, claiming her actions speak otherwise. Aditya intervenes to calm the tension and assures Jhanak that he supports her. Jhanak expresses her frustration at being repeatedly accused and shares her suspicion that Shrishti might be behind the conspiracy.
