Anupama 17th December 2024 Written Update Prem’s past. Today in Anupama written update, Mahi questions Anupama about where she had gone. Anupama calmly replies that she went to withdraw cash from the ATM. Paritosh, always quick to interject, suggests that they could have done an online transaction instead. Anupama acknowledges this but explains that she needs cash to pay someone’s salary. She then hands over the salary to Rahi. Rahi accepts the money but immediately returns it to Anupama, stating that children don’t take salaries from their mothers; instead, they give to them. This gesture touches Anupama deeply, and she becomes emotional. Anupama holds on to the cash, but she firmly tells Rahi that the money belongs to her and that she will keep it safe.
Anupama then turns to Prem and gives him his salary. Prem declines the money, saying he doesn’t need it since he lives and eats at her home. Anupama insists that he might need the cash to send to his family, but Prem hesitates and reveals that he is an orphan. Curious and concerned, Anupama gently asks about his relationships and family. Prem, with a hint of sadness, confesses that he has no one in his life. This revelation catches Paritosh’s attention, and he whispers to Pakhi that Prem must be lying about not having a family. Pakhi questions why Prem would lie about such a serious matter, but Paritosh remains skeptical.
Paritosh confronts Prem directly, questioning how someone can have no family at all. Prem patiently explains that he has been alone since childhood and has no ties to anyone. He adds that the only loved ones he has now are Anupama’s family. This emotional admission touches Anupama, and she hands Prem the cash again. She tells him it is his money, but she will keep it for him if he needs it later. Anupama also requests Prem to accompany her to the market, and the two leave together.

On their way, Anupama talks to Prem about how happy she is that their work is attracting so many offers. Prem shares her enthusiasm and assures her that the business will thrive now that they have Rahi’s support. Anupama praises Mahi and Rahi’s talents, saying both girls are integral to their success. Prem adds that Mahi is very much like Anupama—resilient and determined—while Rahi is strong and independent. He emphasizes that Rahi is one in a million. Curious about Prem’s aspirations, Anupama asks about his plans. Prem reveals that he dreams of opening his café. Anupama smiles but cannot resist asking again if he truly has no family. Sensing her hesitation, Prem reassures her that it’s okay to ask. He repeats that he has no family and asks if she doubts him. Anupama tells him that she trusts him completely.
Meanwhile, back at home, Mahi confides in Pakhi that Anupama has taken Prem with her to talk about something important. Pakhi speculates that Anupama might be discussing Rahi with Prem. This conversation hints at growing curiosity and concern about Prem’s involvement with the family.
Elsewhere, Pari playfully asks Rahi if anyone has ever proposed to her since she looks so beautiful. Rahi is shocked by the question and becomes visibly disturbed. She is unable to focus, her mind drifting back to Prem’s earlier proposal. The memories unsettle her, and she struggles to regain her composure.
While Anupama and Prem are on their way back, Prem stops to park the car. Anupama notices a young girl about to be hit by a vehicle and rushes to save her just in time. The girl faints from the shock, and Anupama quickly tries to help her by splashing water on her face. When the girl regains consciousness, she begins to cry and takes out her phone. On the phone’s wallpaper is a photo of her and Prem, revealing a connection between them. The girl quickly leaves without saying much, while Prem, who has returned, sees her and hides. His behavior raises questions, but Anupama does not notice anything suspicious at the moment.
Later, Anupama and Prem return home. Mahi immediately asks Anupama if she has talked to Prem about her concerns. Anupama advises Mahi to be patient, but internally, she feels uneasy. She recalls Prem’s words about Mahi and Rahi and cannot shake off the nagging fear that something bad is about to happen.
Meanwhile, Prem secretly calls the girl who fainted earlier. He urges her to take care of herself because she is important to him. As he talks, Rahi enters the scene. Prem hurriedly disconnects the call, but Rahi, distracted and emotionally distant, almost falls. Prem catches her just in time, and her shawl gets stuck on his watch. Flustered, Rahi quickly removes it and distances herself. Anupama arrives at the scene and asks what is going on. Prem casually explains that they were discussing business orders, but the tension in the air is palpable.
That night, Rahi struggles to sleep. She continues to avoid Prem’s calls, clearly conflicted about her feelings and the unresolved tension between them. In the upcoming episode, Rahi confronts Prem and tells him that she does not love him. Meanwhile, a group of thieves attack Prem and beat him severely.
