Jhanak 17th December 2024 Written Update Wedding Bells. Today in Jhanak written update, Jhanak is determined to marry Anirudh, feeling that she has no other option. Bablu, though surprised by her decision, tells Jhanak that it’s her life, and she can make her own choices. He admits that while he always saw her as his daughter, today he feels she is like his own child, and therefore, he cannot stop the marriage. Jhanak is taken aback by his words, and Bablu leaves the scene.
Meanwhile, Arshi confronts Anirudh, asking whether he will invite her to the wedding. She expresses that if he invites her, she will come. In response, Anirudh asks her if they could be friends, stating that he values her friendship. However, Arshi rebuffs him, saying they cannot be friends, as he was once her husband. She makes it clear that she no longer wishes to see his face, and she hopes he finds happiness with Jhanak. Despite this, Anirudh tries to apologize, acknowledging the hurt he caused her. He asks for her forgiveness, but Arshi refuses, saying it won’t change anything. She then tells him that if he’s done talking, she will leave.
Jhanak, feeling the weight of the situation, tells Arshi that she never intended to break her relationship with Anirudh. She stresses that she had no choice but to take this step and urges Arshi to understand why she made this decision. Arshi, dismissive, tells Jhanak to leave and mocks her, saying that Jhanak can never love Anirudh the way she does. Arshi also insists that Anirudh is still her husband, while Jhanak, standing firm, replies that Anirudh is her love now. Arshi, bitter and resentful, tells Jhanak that she won, and now she can celebrate. Jhanak, trying to remain composed, tells Arshi that she can meet Anirudh anytime. However, Arshi retorts, dismissing Jhanak’s words as dramatic.
The tension escalates when Jhanak brings up Arshi’s relationship with Srishti, accusing Arshi of trying to separate them. Jhanak explains that she always sought justice for Urvashi, and she urges Arshi not to forget that Srishti gave birth to her. She even offers to reopen the case if necessary, though she declares that she won’t fight this battle again. Arshi, dismissing Jhanak’s attempt at reasoning, accuses her of speaking out of sympathy. Jhanak, quietly confident, hints that she might return Anirudh to Arshi if he is cured. Arshi, infuriated, pushes Jhanak away, telling her to stop talking nonsense and leaves for the downstairs.
As Arshi takes her leave, she seeks blessings from Arundhati, who expresses regret over the situation, saying that Arshi is leaving due to Anirudh’s mistakes. Shubhankar also laments that the “Lakshmi” of the house is departing, but he feels powerless to change anything. Arshi, undeterred, tells Bablu that he must be happy about the situation and demands that he prepare for the wedding arrangements. Bablu clarifies that she has misunderstood him and that he never wanted this outcome. Anjana adds that they tried to stop Jhanak, but she refused to listen.
Anirudh and Jhanak insist that their decision is final, but Shubhankar, worried about the consequences, urges Anirudh not to drag this matter further. Tanuja scolds Anirudh for being shameless, while Laal tells Arshi to take care of herself. Shubhankar warns Anirudh that Jhanak will ruin his life, but he refrains from throwing him out of the house for now. Tanuja, frustrated, points out that Jhanak succeeded in driving Arshi out of the house and expresses concern about how to protect Anirudh from Jhanak’s influence. Jhanak, unbothered, claims she is not trying to ruin anyone’s life and insists that, in time, everyone will understand why she made this decision.
Later that night, Anirudh offers to drop Arshi home. Shubhankar, fed up, tells Anirudh to stop with the drama, but Anirudh dismisses his interference. Arshi, tauntingly, thanks Jhanak, wishing her and Anirudh happiness, before leaving. Coming up next, Arshi reveals that she is pregnant with Anirudh’s child, leaving everyone in shock and adding yet another layer of complexity to the ongoing drama.
