Ranbir and Adrija visit a jewelry shop to select their engagement rings. While Adrija beams with excitement over the upcoming ceremony, Ranbir’s disinterest is palpable. Distracted, he inquires about Meghla’s well-being, which prompts Adrija to take a subtle jab by mentioning Meghla’s so-called boyfriend. When Ranbir presses for more information, Adrija fumbles, struggling to even name this imaginary figure, leaving Ranbir visibly hurt and disinterested in the topic.

After selecting the rings, Adrija makes a heartfelt request for Ranbir to slide the engagement ring onto her finger himself, which he obliges. However, the tension between the couple remains evident.

Returning home, Adrija tries to create a special moment for her fiancé by cooking for him. Yet, Ranbir, already restless, refuses to linger at her home.
