Bhagya Lakshmi 25th December 2024 Written Update. Lakshmi gets ready to leave, but Kiran stops her, saying the party isn’t over yet. She mentions there is an announcement followed by the cake cutting. Turning to Neelam, Kiran suggests they proceed with the announcement, and Neelam agrees. Kiran gathers the guests and announces that Rishi and Malishka are going to become parents. She then urges Neelam to move forward with the cake-cutting ceremony. Amidst this, Vimmi comments that since Rishi and Malishka are expecting a child, they should also get married. However, Rano interrupts the moment, declaring in front of everyone that Rishi and Lakshmi are still legally married. She emphasizes that Rishi and Malishka’s child doesn’t nullify Rishi’s existing marriage to Lakshmi.
The announcement stirs the crowd, leading to murmurs among the guests. Kiran confronts Rano, questioning how she dares to challenge Malishka in public. The guests start gossiping, calling Malishka’s child illegitimate. Rano and Kiran engage in a heated argument. Before the situation escalates further, Lakshmi steps in and stops Rano and Shalu from arguing with the Oberoi family. She calmly leads them away. Neelam, attempting to maintain decorum, asks the guests to disregard Rano and Shalu’s comments and dismisses the gathering.
Outside, Lakshmi confronts Rano and Shalu, telling them not to create a scene. Rano and Shalu argue back, insisting Lakshmi doesn’t realize the gravity of the situation. Lakshmi responds by saying she doesn’t wish to know or get involved. Rano, determined, says Malishka needs to be taught a lesson, but Lakshmi counters by saying that Rishi is equally at fault, if not more. Lakshmi pleads with them to let things take their course and avoid unnecessary drama.
Anushka arrives at the party and notices the tension among Malishka and the Oberoi family. Curious, she asks what happened. Karishma and Aanchal quickly place the blame on Rano and Shalu for disrupting the event earlier. Anushka joins in, criticizing Shalu, while Karishma supports her remarks. Ayush defends Shalu, saying she must have had valid reasons, but Aanchal and Karishma dismiss his argument, insisting Shalu’s actions were out of line. Feeling cornered, Ayush chooses to remain silent.
Meanwhile, Kiran receives a message from Balwinder and quietly steps away. Rishi approaches Neelam, requesting to speak with her privately. Neelam agrees but insists that Malishka stay for the conversation. Elsewhere, Balwinder and Bablu wait for Kiran to arrive. During this time, Balwinder bumps into Neel and his friend. Balwinder casually jokes that he was almost married into the Oberoi family, referring to his past involvement with Lakshmi. Neel laughs it off, jokingly claiming that he is the one married to the family’s daughter-in-law. After the light exchange, Neel and his friend leave, searching for Shalu.
Balwinder and Bablu then discuss Neel, making snide comments about him. Meanwhile, Rano and Shalu continue urging Lakshmi to confront Malishka. Lakshmi remains firm, refusing to engage. Neel spots Shalu from a distance and points her out to his friend. However, his friend mistakenly identifies Lakshmi as the target and agrees to proceed with their plan to kidnap her.
Rano, finally calming down, tells Lakshmi she will no longer interfere but also insists Lakshmi can’t continue living in such a situation. She leaves in frustration. Shalu, however, stays behind and questions Lakshmi, asking why she refuses to stand up for herself. Lakshmi remains silent, unwilling to engage further.
Rishi once again approaches Neelam, asking to speak privately. He requests Malishka to leave, but Neelam adamantly refuses, insisting Malishka stays. Frustrated, Rishi tells Neelam he wants to leave the house temporarily. He confesses that his repeated mistakes have caused unhappiness for everyone in the family, and he needs time away to reflect. Neelam dismisses his request, arguing that he isn’t the only one suffering because of the situation. She denies him permission to leave and walks away. Left alone, Rishi vents his frustration, questioning why no one in the family understands him. Overwhelmed with anger, he grabs a vase and smashes it on the floor before storming off, leaving the family shaken.
