Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, Abhira is overwhelmed by the uncertainties in her life as she asks Madhav to inform her immediately if he discovers anything new about the accident. Struggling with a headache, she reaches for her pills, but Armaan intervenes, urging her to relax instead of relying on medication. Their conversation shifts to Abhir, with Armaan cautioning Abhira against showing pity towards him, fearing it might hurt Abhir’s pride. Abhira, filled with self-doubt, wonders how she will manage without Armaan. In response, Armaan reassures her that he will always find her, no matter where she goes. Before leaving, he gently reminds her to give Abhir his medicine and take some rest.
Meanwhile, Madhav probes deeper into the accident investigation. He requests evidence from the police and learns that the driver involved was a woman. His suspicions intensify when he examines an anklet found at the scene and recognizes it as Vidya’s. Although troubled, Madhav believes Vidya would have confided in him if she were guilty. Determined to uncover the truth, he resolves to solve the case.
At the same time, Sanjay pressures Charu to sue Abhir, citing the firm’s financial losses. However, Charu hesitates, unable to bring herself to harm Abhir’s life, especially given his fragile state. Sanjay, firm in his stance, insists she proceed with legal action. Elsewhere, Kiara pleads with Krish to accompany her to visit Abhir, but he refuses, unwilling to go against the family. Kiara predicts that one day Abhir will side with her of his own accord.
Sanjay also confronts Armaan, urging him to return to the firm and make a decision regarding his relationship with Abhira. He suggests Armaan either convince Abhira to prioritize their future or move on. Kaveri echoes this sentiment, imploring Armaan not to wait indefinitely. However, Armaan resists, unwilling to appear selfish by confronting Abhira about their unresolved issues. Vidya, feeling guilty, blames herself for the growing distance between Armaan and Abhira.
Later, Vidya twists her ankle, and Madhav comes to her aid. He notices her wearing the anklet identical to the one found at the accident site, raising his suspicions further. Gathering his courage, Madhav confronts Vidya about her involvement in Abhir’s accident. Vidya tearfully admits her role but explains that fear had driven her to flee the scene. Madhav is appalled by her actions and insists the truth must be revealed to the Poddar family. However, Vidya pleads with him to keep her secret for the sake of Armaan and Abhira.
As tensions escalate, Manisha urges Armaan to address his relationship with Abhira before it’s too late. Armaan, however, refuses to act under pressure, asserting that their bond cannot be dictated by Kaveri’s conditions. Manisha remains insistent, warning him of the consequences of inaction.
Meanwhile, Abhira seeks updates from Madhav about the accident but is unaware that he is concealing Vidya’s truth. When she visits the police, they present her with the evidence, including the anklet, adding to her growing suspicions. Manisha also visits Abhira, informing her of Kaveri’s ultimatum and encouraging her to make a decision for Armaan’s sake.
During her reflections, Abhira notices a dent on Armaan’s car, which sparks further doubts in her mind. Manish, concerned about her future, asks if she plans to reconcile with Armaan. Abhira firmly states that she will not leave Armaan. Meanwhile, Madhav grapples with the weight of Vidya’s secret, fearing the chaos it might unleash if exposed. As these intertwined relationships and dilemmas unfold, the characters are left to confront their choices, alliances, and the consequences of hidden truths.
