The episode starts with Dadu doing his best Gandalf impression, yelling, “You shall not pass!” Unfortunately for him, Ranbir is no Frodo and tells him to chill because this train isn’t stopping. Dadu and Zoravar throw a tantrum, but Balveer unexpectedly sides with Diljot. This moment of support has the family bursting with happy tears and slow claps. Honestly, if Balveer keeps this up, he might just snag the “Best Supporting Actor in a Family Drama” award.
As the melodrama peaks, Guru Ji takes center stage, applying sindoor to Diljot, while the audience mentally preps for the next crying session. Garlands are exchanged, emotional hugs happen, and Meghla is told to treat Diljot as her new mom. Meghla’s response? An Oscar-worthy “I’ll keep her safe” performance complete with a dramatic hug.
Meanwhile, Ranbir has his own agenda—thanking Balveer, planning Bua’s bidaai, and inadvertently juggling more love interests than a Bollywood hero. Adrija swoops in with her confessions of love at first sight (cue eye-roll), and Meghla, our resident silent sufferer, looks like someone just stole her candy. Ranbir handles Adrija’s flattery with minimal enthusiasm, pointing out that Meghla sings better. Ouch. Adrija, the queen of awkward timing, doesn’t let Meghla off easy, serving taunts with a side of sarcasm.
Ranbir, true to form, ignores Adrija’s clinginess and proposes dropping Meghla off to Guru Ji’s place, leaving Adrija visibly triggered. She declares she’ll tag along because why not turn this into a third-wheel road trip? Ranbir shuts her down faster than a misfired plot twist, reminding her she has zero connection with Guru Ji. Meghla finally agrees to go but not without a sprinkle of Ranbir’s temper and accusations involving Ankush (the mysterious man she apparently owes an explanation about).
