Jhanak 7th January 2025 Written Update Today. Jhanak sits, her mind racing with confusion about Anirudh. She starts to wonder if she’s overthinking things, but a part of her is still unsure whether Anirudh could truly be Vihaan’s best friend. The tension in her head grows, but then, in a calming moment, she looks down at the baby in her lap. A small sense of peace washes over her as she bonds with the little one. Vihaan, noticing this tender moment, can’t help but smile as he sees Jhanak forming a connection with his child. It’s a quiet, beautiful moment amidst all the chaos surrounding them.
Meanwhile, Arshi pushes Anirudh with a question about his feelings for Jhanak. “Do you regret not marrying her?” she asks, trying to stir something in him. But Anirudh brushes it off, telling her not to overreact. Arshi, clearly not satisfied with his indifference, takes it a step further, accusing him of only staying in their marriage for the sake of their unborn baby. Her tone sharpens, and she warns him that if he doesn’t change his ways soon, she’ll take drastic measures. Classic Arshi, always ready to make a scene when things don’t go her way.
As seen in the last episode, Anjana is making tea, and Appu tells Tanuja to step in and cook. But Anjana is having none of it, stating that Tanuja’s never cooked before. Meanwhile, Jhanak is comforted by Sarika, who reassures her that once Vihaan leaves for America, she’ll have time to bond with Ahaan. Jhanak’s emotional breakdown hits, but Sarika insists she’ll always be there for her.
Neighbors gossip about Vihaan’s return, with one asking why he had to go abroad when everything’s set for him at home. Vihaan’s dad explains that Vihaan wanted to pursue his dreams, which Ketki clearly couldn’t understand, seeing as she hasn’t spoken to him for two years. The tension at home ramps up as Bipasha is shocked to see Tanuja carrying a tea tray, and Laal silences her. Choton wonders why Anjana never helps Tanuja, and Priyanshi gets into a clash with Ketki when she tries to leave the house, threatening to leave for good. Ketki retaliates by saying Priyanshi’s marriage is on hold until she finishes her studies.
Vihaan’s preoccupied with thoughts of his friend from Kolkata, but Jhanak overhears and worries that she’s overthinking things. As the family drama continues, it’s clear that the tension is far from over.

Arshi expresses her dissatisfaction to Anirudh, telling him she had spoken to Shrishti and insists that they should not live in the Bose house if Lalon will also be there. Anirudh, however, counters that Lalon owns a major portion of the house and that he has no issue living with him. Arshi, frustrated, accuses him of portraying Lalon as perfect, to which Anirudh defends Lalon, stating that Lalon married the person he loved and is living happily. This sparks Arshi’s resentment, as she interprets his words as implying he regrets marrying her. Anirudh tries to calm her, but Arshi feels neglected and accuses him of only staying with her because of their baby. She warns him that if Lalon orders her to do household chores, she will take drastic actions. She leaves, clearly upset with the situation.
Meanwhile, tensions arise between Tanuja and Bipasha, as Choton informs Tanuja that Bipasha has refused to help her, resulting in the end of their partnership. Laal, planning to go for breakfast with his colleague and Bipasha, takes her along, leaving Tanuja to deal with the situation. Appu, observing this, comments on Bipasha’s true nature and instructs Tanuja to prepare breakfast herself.
On a different front, Vihaan’s father tells Ketki that they are celebrating Uttarayan, advising her to let go of the tension surrounding Vihaan’s wife. Prachi asks Riddhi to take Priyanshi out as Vihaan and his wife are arriving. Ketki, however, remains hostile, insisting that Vihaan’s wife should be under her control and that Vihaan should leave if he disrespects her. Prachi tries to diffuse the situation, praising Ketki’s cooking and urging her to make food for Vihaan. Despite Ketki’s resistance, Prachi and the neighbors support her, and Ketki reluctantly agrees to cook.
In another tense moment, Vinayak enters the house and is informed by Shrishti that Jhanak is missing. He accuses her of being happy about it and blames her for Jhanak’s disappearance. Shrishti, concerned that Anirudh might search for Jhanak, is reassured by Vinayak that Anirudh won’t search because he is married. Vinayak calls Arshi to confirm that Anirudh has no plans to go to Mumbai, and she confirms it. He orders Shrishti to rectify her actions and goes to search for Jhanak himself.
Back at the home, Vihaan’s father urges Ketki to accept Vihaan’s wife, but Ketki stubbornly refuses, insisting that Prachi should welcome her. Despite her resistance, Vihaan’s father tries to reason with her, reminding her that Vihaan is an adult and would have taught his wife everything. Ketki, however, resents the fact that she did not choose a wife for Vihaan and could not attend his wedding. She also expresses disdain that Vihaan’s wife is coming from abroad. Vihaan’s father urges her to calm down, and the neighbors encourage her to accept the situation.
Vihaan finally arrives, and after a heartfelt moment, he takes Ketki’s blessings, and she is emotionally moved. Vihaan defends his wife, explaining that he wanted to visit his family two years ago but could not. Ketki, still hurt by past events, questions him about his choices and asks to meet her grandson, Ahaan. Sarika brings Jhanak into the room, and Ketki’s gaze lands on her, setting the stage for further drama.
