Kumkum Bhagya 8th January 2025 Written Update. Vaishali offers to prepare breakfast for Dadi, but Dadi refuses, planning to go for a walk instead. Overhearing this, Dadaji volunteers to accompany her, but Dadi declines. When Dadaji asks for a reason, Dadi accuses him of wanting to ogle at other women during the walk. Dadaji denies the claim and playfully asks others to raise their hands if they believe him. Only Harleen supports him, leading Dadi to sarcastically comment on the situation. RV intervenes, persuading Dadi to take Dadaji along, and she finally agrees.
Purvi informs Harleen about her plan to visit the temple. Harleen decides to join her. Meanwhile, Monisha informs Dushyant about their outing. Dushyant contacts Painter, assigning him a task. Painter agrees.
At the temple, Purvi shares her intent to perform a havan for the well-being of the family after recent events. Harleen praises her thoughtful gesture. Monisha calls Harleen to confirm her location, then joins Dushyant in his car. She questions why Dushyant is interested in Harleen’s details when their target is Purvi. Dushyant clarifies his intentions and sends Painter a photo of Harleen, declaring her as the target. Monisha, however, warns him not to harm Harleen, emphasizing that she is RV’s mother.
During the havan, Purvi notices the fire intensifying and interprets it as a divine sign, praying for the safety of RV and his family. Elsewhere, RV drives cautiously as Harleen had instructed, but Yug grows impatient and requests to drive. RV nearly gets into an accident, considers it a bad omen, and lets Yug take over.
Dushyant reveals his plan to Monisha, stating that harming Harleen and blaming Purvi would make RV hate her. At the temple, after the pooja, the pandit gives Purvi a sacred thread to tie on RV for his protection. Purvi agrees.
Feeling uneasy, RV asks Yug to take him to Harleen. At the same time, Dushyant and Monisha spot Harleen leaving the temple. Dushyant orders Painter to proceed with the plan. Painter hits Harleen with his car, shocking Purvi, who cries for help. Painter escapes. Dushyant and Monisha arrive, pretending to assist Harleen, and take her into a car under the guise of transporting her to an ambulance.
