GHKKPM 14th January 2025 Written Update. The episode kicks off with Ashika pointing out to Savi that the AC is running, so they need to keep the door closed—because apparently, even doors have responsibilities in this house.
Meanwhile, Rajat sleeps on the couch as Kian innocently invites him to share the bed. Rajat reassures him, staying firmly on the couch, all while Ashika quietly turns off the lights. Savi, on the other hand, is engrossed in her UPSC preparations, though her thoughts seem preoccupied with Rajat. As irony would have it, Rajat is equally restless, reminiscing about Savi. In a moment of questionable sentimentality, Rajat finds Savi’s dupatta next to him, puts it over his face, and drifts off to sleep. Meanwhile, Savi wonders why Rajat sharing a room with Ashika bothers her so much. Well, Savi, perhaps your heart has the answer!
The next morning, Ashika wakes Kian, instructing him to follow her plan for the day. Kian obediently agrees, though it feels like there’s more to this arrangement. Meanwhile, Tara and Bhagyasree criticize Savi for sleeping in, debating who will cook if she doesn’t wake up. Tara offers to wake her, but Bhagyasree refuses, insisting Savi handle the responsibility as the daughter-in-law. When Ashika volunteers to cook, Bhagyasree shuts her down, reminding her of her “guest” status in the house—a not-so-subtle reminder of the hierarchy. Ashika, biting her tongue, stays quiet.
Kian, full of enthusiasm for Uttarayan, asks Ashika to make peanut laddoos for him. Tara, ever sharp-tongued, accuses Ashika of manipulating Kian for her benefit but relents, letting her make the laddoos.
Savi wakes up late and apologizes to Bhagyasree, who reassures her but hands over the task of preparing dessert. As Savi begins making sweets, Saisha approaches her with a wardrobe malfunction—a popped button—and asks for help. Savi steps away to assist her, leaving Ashika alone in the kitchen. Seizing the opportunity, Ashika mischievously mixes baking soda into Savi’s dessert. However, in a twist of fate, Kian’s remote-controlled helicopter crashes into the sweets, causing the dishes to switch places without Ashika noticing. Savi unknowingly resumes cooking with Ashika’s tampered dish, while Ashika works on Savi’s original creation.
At the dining table, Isha suggests starting Uttarayan with a Haldi Kumkum ritual for Savi. Kian, excited about his first Uttarayan, insists everyone taste Ashika’s peanut laddoos first. However, Raju interjects, declaring that since it’s Savi’s first festival in the house, her laddoos should take precedence. This sparks a playful debate, but Kian, feeling left out, gets Rajat’s reassurance before serving Ashika’s laddoos to everyone. The anticipation turns into hilarity when the family discovers Ashika’s laddoos are as hard as rocks. The Thakkars gleefully mock her, and Ashika, in an attempt to prove them wrong, bites into a laddoo and chips her tooth—sealing her humiliation with a literal crack.
The mood shifts as Rajat finally serves Savi’s laddoos. Saisha feeds them to Kian, who declares them delicious, earning Savi praise for her culinary skills. The tables have turned, leaving Ashika visibly irked.
Later, during kite flying, Kian proudly displays a kite with “Ashika and Rajat” written on it, only to have Savi bring out her own kite labeled “Savi and Rajat.” The tension in the air is as palpable as the Uttarayan festivities, promising even more drama to unfold.
