Anupama 17th January 2025 Written Update Anupama’s stand. Baa announces that if Anupama dares to leave, who will prepare the prasad? Because, naturally, prasad takes precedence over self-respect, especially when Shrinath Ji is involved. With a tone that brooks no argument, she instructs Khyati to let Anupama go only after her culinary duties are complete. Priorities, right?
Meanwhile, Rahi catches Anupama collecting glass pieces—an odd side quest amidst the drama. She confronts Anupama, asking what on earth is going on. Before clarity can emerge, Gautam interjects, suspiciously questioning why Rahi was in his bedroom. Baa, master of misplaced outrage, chimes in, accusing Anupama of unauthorized kitchen entry and Rahi of breaching the sanctity of the bedroom. Rahi, however, flips the script, reminding Badshah that he’s the one who brought her there. A rare mic-drop moment for Rahi as she boldly defends Anupama.
Neeta and Gautam, evidently running short on trust, label Anupama and Rahi as thieves. They demand to search their belongings—a step too far even for Anupama’s patience. Firmly, she challenges the Kotharis first to verify if anything is even missing. Refusing to let her dignity be trampled further, she denies permission for any invasive searches. Rahi, in turn, lashes out at the Kotharis, making it clear that they’ve picked the wrong duo to mess with. Together, the two women resolve to focus on their work and leave this madhouse behind.
Parag, oblivious to the escalating tension, orders Anupama and Rahi to get back to work. Surprisingly, Prathana sides with them, though her courage falters when Gautam silences her with a glare. Parag remains unbothered by the dynamics and continues to exert his authority.
Elsewhere, Paritosh spirals into anxiety over Anupama and Rahi. His parents, Hasmuk and Leela, advise him to calm down, but he remains restless. Enter Sudha, whose visit adds fuel to the fire. Paritosh, in an uncharacteristic display of swagger, informs Sudha that Anupama is now associated with the Kotharis. When Kinjal confronts him about his behavior, he defends himself, claiming it’s all part of his “marketing strategy.” Sure, Paritosh, keep telling yourself that.
Back at the Kothari house, Anupama confesses to Rahi that she feels increasingly uneasy. Rahi, echoing the sentiment, decides she’s had enough of the Kotharis and vows never to cross paths with them again. Meanwhile, Ansh, busy with his gaming empire aspirations, requests Agarwal to schedule a meeting with his boss. When Agarwal relays this to Gautam, the latter dismisses Ansh with a vague promise to call him later.
Gautam’s temper flares at Prathana, reprimanding her for daring to intervene. Prathana quietly reflects on how she wishes she could be as assertive as Anupama and Rahi. The Kotharis household is where confidence goes to die.
As the day progresses, the family decides to fly kites—a momentary distraction from the chaos. Parag, reigning champion of the annual kite-flying competition, confidently declares his invincibility. Anil, unwilling to let Parag have all the glory, prepares to challenge him. Amid this, Khyati gifts gold bangles to Neeta, who instantly compares them to her mother’s bangles. Because apparently, even gifts here come with a side of competition. Baa, never one to skip a judgmental thought, muses that no two brothers can ever be equal. Family goals, anyone?
Anupama, showing her kind-hearted nature, steps in to fly a kite to help a young boy. Parag, however, is laser-focused on his competition, convinced no one can cut his kite. Oh, Parag, if only your kite-flying skills could match your arrogance.
Later, Parag and Baa lash out at Anupama and Rahi, leaving them stunned by the revelation that Prem is Parag’s son. Because, of course, secrets and drama are this family’s bread and butter.
