Lakshmi doesn’t hold back, urging Ayush to stop playing with Shalu’s emotions. Ayush defends himself, insisting he has never toyed with her feelings and confesses that he genuinely loves Shalu. Lakshmi, ever the voice of reason, sarcastically remarks that love is meaningless if Ayush never told Shalu how he feels. Ayush explains that he didn’t think Shalu could ever love someone like him and admits his hesitation has been his biggest mistake.
Meanwhile, Malishka and Kiran have their own gossip session, grumbling about how Lakshmi always keeps Rishi wrapped around her finger. Their jealousy could fuel a soap opera of its own, but let’s move on.
Ayush reaffirms his love for Shalu, lamenting that everyone knows his feelings except Shalu herself. Lakshmi listens patiently, then advises him to fix his mess by being honest with Shalu. Ayush looks like a scolded child but gratefully agrees. Their heartfelt moment gets interrupted when Varsha arrives with a necklace for Kiran. Varsha reveals that the jeweler was instructed to make it look like ancestral jewelry. Kiran, with a smirk that screams “schemer,” approves the necklace and suggests they execute their mysterious plan. Malishka, ever the drama queen, summons Rishi, ready to put their plot in motion.
Ayush, still looking for guidance, asks Lakshmi how to approach Shalu since she keeps avoiding him. Lakshmi promises to talk to Shalu on his behalf, earning a heartfelt thank-you from Ayush. Rishi, on the other hand, bumps into Shalu and asks if she’s okay. Shalu, in a moment of self-sacrificial drama, decides not to mention anything about Ayush. Before Rishi can dig deeper, Malishka’s call pulls him away—because nothing screams urgency like Malishka’s attention-seeking antics.
The plot thickens as Kiran gathers the Oberoi family and announces a “ritual” to gift Malishka an “ancestral” necklace. She explains that it’s a family tradition, passed from mother to daughter when the latter is pregnant. Her goal? To have Rishi put the necklace around Malishka’s neck. Cue the collective side-eye from viewers who see right through this charade.
Lakshmi encourages Ayush to confess his feelings to Shalu, and he finally musters up the courage to go after her. But Lakshmi’s moment of peace is short-lived as she spots Garimacharya approaching and quickly exits the scene.
Back at the Oberoi family circus, Rishi hesitates to follow Kiran’s ritual. He points out the obvious: a husband is supposed to put the necklace on his wife, and Malishka is *not* his wife. Neelam, always ready with a snarky comment, brushes off his concerns and reminds him that Malishka is pregnant. Harleen tries to diffuse the situation by telling Rishi to treat it as just a necklace, nothing more. Begrudgingly, Rishi complies and places the necklace around Malishka’s neck while Lakshmi watches from a distance.
Kiran, with a sly grin, whispers to Rishi that Lakshmi saw him performing the ritual and is likely upset. True to form, Rishi dashes after Lakshmi, leaving Malishka to gloat about how the “real plan” is only just beginning. The plot twists are coming, and Malishka’s devious smirk is the ominous hint we didn’t need.
