Bhagya Lakshmi 22nd January 2025 Written Update

Bhagya Lakshmi 22nd January 2025 Written Update. The episode begins on a dramatic note with Malishka attempting to slit her wrist in a fit of despair. Kiran stops her just in time, slapping her to snap her out of it. Kiran, visibly shaken, asks if Malishka has lost her mind. Malishka, in full melodramatic glory, declares she has indeed gone mad, confessing that her obsession with Rishi has consumed her. She reveals she overheard Rishi professing his love for Lakshmi and laments that her dreams of being with him are shattered. Kiran tries to console her, insisting there’s nothing serious between Rishi and Lakshmi, but Malishka isn’t buying it.

Elsewhere, Shalu confronts Anushka with her usual sass, accusing her of being a thief. Shalu, never one to mince words, labels Anushka a gold digger. Anushka, clearly offended, fires back, insisting she’s no thief and making a snide remark about Shalu’s accusations. The tension between them escalates as the verbal jabs continue.

Back in her despair, Malishka tells Kiran she’d rather die than watch Rishi and Lakshmi take Phere around the Lohri fire. Kiran, employing a twisted sense of maternal support, assures Malishka that those Phere won’t happen. When Malishka presses for details, Kiran darkly suggests that if Lakshmi can’t walk, she can’t take the Phere. Malishka, clearly impressed with this villain-level thinking, seems hopeful again.

Meanwhile, Anushka and Shalu’s spat takes a dangerous turn. Shalu, fed up with Anushka’s antics, threatens to expose her. Anushka, unwilling to let that happen, hits Shalu on the back of her head with a vase, leaving her unconscious. With zero remorse, Anushka panics and calls Neel, instructing him to handle what she now assumes is a dead body. Talk about escalating quickly!

As the Lohri celebrations heat up, Rishi gazes at Lakshmi and, in his heart, vows to declare his love for her publicly. Kiran and Malishka spot the tender moment and, true to their conniving ways, start scheming. Malishka dramatically threatens to end her life if Rishi and Lakshmi take Phere. Kiran, annoyed by the constant death threats, brushes it off but secretly resolves to stop the ceremony at any cost. It’s a mother-daughter bond built on mutual delusions, apparently.

Kiran hatches a dangerous plan, deciding to scatter glass shards near the Lohri fire to prevent Lakshmi from walking. As Rishi and Lakshmi prepare for the Phere, Kiran sneakily drops the Pooja Thaal, pretending to clean it while planting the shards. Just as Lakshmi is about to step on the trap, Rishi calls out to her, stopping her in the nick of time. Lakshmi, curious, asks him what he wants to say.

Meanwhile, Anushka, convinced she has killed Shalu, calls for Neel to dispose of the “body.” Neel, however, has his own distractions as he spots Varsha wandering aimlessly. Karishma confronts Varsha, who claims she’s lost and needs directions to the Lohri celebrations. Karishma obliges but quickly moves on to her own plans, unknowingly trailed by Neel, who is now curious about her connection to Garimacharya.

The episode reaches its emotional peak as Rishi finally confesses his feelings to Lakshmi. In front of everyone, he declares that Lakshmi is his guiding light, the comfort in his darkest times. With heartfelt sincerity, he tells her he loves her, leaving the audience—and perhaps even Lakshmi—completely smitten. It’s a moment of pure romance amidst all the chaos and scheming, proving once again that love conquers all, even broken glass and melodramatic villains.
