The episode opens with Ranvijay being as clueless as ever, ignoring calls from Jaya because, apparently, answering his pregnant ex-wife during a “busy meeting” is beneath him. Vaiju, trying to mediate, tells Jaya not to bother him, but Jaya, in her determined glory, reminds her that Ranvijay himself had told her to call if there were issues. Meanwhile, Ranvijay’s client is visibly annoyed by his constant distraction—understandable, because who wouldn’t be when the person you’re working with acts like a soap opera protagonist in real life?
When Ranvijay finally answers Jaya’s call, he goes full drama king, scolding her as if he’s the one carrying a child through a complicated pregnancy. Hurt and feeling unwell, Jaya gets emotional while others around her try to help, proving they have more humanity in one finger than Ranvijay does in his whole being. Later, when Ranvijay gets home, his lack of emotional intelligence hits a new low as he shifts gears to scold Vaiju for disappointing him. Vaiju, being a sensible person, tries to explain her actions were for her baby’s welfare, but Ranvijay, true to form, doesn’t bother listening. Instead, he acts like a martyr, as if he’s the only one with the right to have feelings in the entire household.

Things escalate when Jaya bluntly tells him she’s not his puppet, effectively shutting him up for about two seconds. He then delivers another “I’m the man, so I know best” speech, claiming that Jaya’s pregnancy is more critical because even the smallest mistake could endanger her life and her baby’s. Vaiju, finally fed up with his nonsense, asks why everyone acts like only Jaya is pregnant and experiencing mood swings, while her own pregnancy and needs are conveniently brushed aside. Of course, Ranvijay just doubles down, explaining in his usual condescending manner that Jaya’s complications are more important, and Vaiju’s pregnancy is apparently no big deal.
Later, as Jaya is walking alone, she stumbles, but Ranvijay conveniently swoops in to play the hero, holding her just as Vaiju’s labor pains start. Ranvijay rushes her to the hospital, where things take a dramatic turn. The doctor informs them that Jaya cannot handle the pain of normal delivery and will require a C-section. Meanwhile, Vaiju, in a parallel labor drama, begins experiencing pain as well. Ranvijay, instead of being a supportive husband to both women, runs around like a headless chicken, trying to manage the chaos.
In a heartbreaking twist, Jaya’s baby is stillborn. The doctor warns Ranvijay that Jaya’s life is in danger due to her deteriorating condition and that she might not survive unless she has a baby in her arms to stabilize her mental state. Cue Ranvijay’s “brilliant” idea: steal Vaiju’s healthy newborn and hand him over to Jaya. Yes, you read that right—this man actually decides to rob Vaiju of her joy to save Jaya. Vaiju, unconscious after labor, has no idea that Ranvijay has essentially traded their child like a bargaining chip.
When Vaiju finally wakes up, she is informed by a teary-eyed nurse that her baby is missing. Ranvijay, meanwhile, sits outside Jaya’s room, consumed with guilt but somehow still convinced he did the right thing. Let’s not forget, this is the same man who couldn’t even answer a phone call without throwing a tantrum, but now he’s playing God with people’s lives. The nurse informs him that Jaya is demanding to see her baby, and Ranvijay, instead of finding an alternative solution, doubles down on his morally bankrupt decision.
The episode ends with Ranvijay sitting beside Vaiju, apologizing for his actions as if a mere “sorry” can undo the emotional devastation he’s caused. Spoiler alert, Ranvijay: it won’t. Vaiju will wake up, realize what you’ve done, and unleash the wrath you so richly deserve. Stay tuned for what promises to be an epic confrontation.
Vaiju regains consciousness and demands answers. She looks around for her baby, only for Ranvijay to confess that he gave their child to Jaya to save her life. Vaiju is left shattered, and Ranvijay cries like a victim in his self-created mess.
