Anupama 24th January 2025 Written Update Rahi’s Breakup. Today in Anupama written update, the episode opens with Prem and Rahi separating, and predictably, both of them dive headfirst into the past, reminiscing about their “golden days” like they’re auditioning for a heartbreak montage. Meanwhile, Mahi plays the sympathy card for Prem, but it’s clear she’s just here to stir the pot. For some reason, Rahi and Prem decide the best way to handle their emotional turmoil is by eating chili, because why not add physical pain to emotional pain? Logical coping mechanisms, who?
Enter Anupama, frantically searching for Rahi. Pari, ever the commentator, suggests checking the kitchen (because sure, when someone’s missing, they’re *always* in the kitchen). Pari, in her wisdom, also decides to announce that everything happening today is “not right,” as if this entire show isn’t one giant mess. Ishani, wasting no time, blames Rahi for the chaos because scapegoating is her favorite sport. Pari defends Rahi, claiming she’s in pain too, but Mahi sides with Ishani, accusing Rahi of overreacting. Of course, the cherry on top is Ishani calling out Mahi for being happy about Prem and Rahi’s separation, accusing her of sucking up to Prem. Hasmuk finally steps in to tell them to stop bickering, but his presence is about as effective as a broken umbrella in a storm. Pari ups the drama by calling Mahi a psycho, to which Mahi responds that Pari’s brain isn’t functioning. Classic playground insults, anyone?
Anupama finds Rahi shattered and attempts to give her a motivational speech that’s about as inspiring as a fortune cookie. Meanwhile, Prem is busy crying on the road, because nothing screams “I’m heartbroken” like public sobbing. Paras, in a moment of paranoia, worries about Anupama’s reaction to Prem’s true identity, threatening to unleash his wrath if she dares to act against him. Not that anyone asked for his input.
Anupama tells Rahi that Parag will never approve of her relationship with Prem, and for some reason, this convinces her to dissolve her ties with him completely. Prem and Rahi have the most dramatic breakup, both claiming their lives are over, because melodrama is the only language they speak. Over at the Shahs, the family gathers to gossip about Prem’s wealth. Pakhi, Dolly, Paritosh, and Leela’s obsession with Prem being “super rich” is so over-the-top, you’d think they’re planning to auction him off.
Anupama, still stuck in self-blame mode, regrets not doing a full background check on Prem before letting him into their lives. Rahi joins the pity party, lamenting her decision to fall in love with Prem. When Anupama asks if she’s sure about ending things, Rahi doubles down, claiming she’s made her choice. Anupama, ever the realist, warns her to brace for pain because this show doesn’t have enough of that already. Rahi steels herself for heartbreak, and Anupama vows to be her personal cheerleader. Yay?
Meanwhile, Rahi gives Prem the cold shoulder, but Mahi swoops in to play the supportive friend. Prem and Rahi, naturally, spend the entire time thinking about each other because, apparently, moving on isn’t in their vocabulary. Later, Prem has a dramatic confrontation with Anupama, declaring he can’t stay away. He pleads for a second chance like he’s auditioning for a soap within a soap. He even corners Rahi, begging her to reconsider, but she shoves him away. Enter Parag, who suddenly becomes Rahi’s knight in shining armor by helping her. Episode over, thankfully.
**Precap:** Parag and Baa suddenly flip the script and approve of Rahi and Prem’s alliance, because consistency doesn’t exist here. Meanwhile, Anupama grows suspicious of the Kotharis’ intentions. Stay tuned for more drama and questionable decisions!
