Pakhi chirps in, calling Rahi lucky because the Kotharis proposed marriage. Lucky? Sure, if marrying into a chaotic family is the ultimate jackpot. Meanwhile, Ishani, Kinjal, and Leela form a family first cheerleading squad, while Hasmukh gives his usual cryptic advice to think and decide. Thanks, Hasmukh, that really clears everything up. 🙄
Anupama, the resident overthinker, gets restless because trusting the Kotharis is apparently harder than solving quantum physics. While she spirals into anxiety, Baa and Parag pray to God and promptly fall asleep. Maybe Parag’s prayers should include an ounce of self-awareness? He rants about Prem working as a chef like it’s a crime. News flash, Parag: Being a chef is a respectable job. But no, his ego demands Prem come crawling back to the Shahs. 🙃
Prem, meanwhile, declares his love for Rahi but insists Parag is laying a trap. Oh, Prem, if your dad is a villain, maybe stop acting like his mini version? Rahi, of course, responds with I’m blank, because why give her any agency in her own love story? Prem tells her to take her time deciding, as if her decision even matters in this circus. 🤦♀️
Over at the Kotharis, the family debates whether Rahi is good enough for Prem. Vasundara lectures Parag about how he married Khyati against her wishes (the hypocrisy, anyone?), while Baa flip-flops faster than a politician, now supporting Rahi to win Prem back. Baa’s logic? If Khyati adjusted, Rahi will too. Wow, Baa. A shining example of progressive thinking. 😑
Rahi vents to Anupama about her love for Prem, but instead of giving practical advice, Anupama launches into her trademark monologue about destiny and thinking deeply. Rahi begs Anupama to support her decision, and Anupama assures her, because apparently, overthinking is contagious. Meanwhile, Gautam confronts Parag about apologizing to the Shahs, while the rest of the Kotharis play verbal ping-pong about whether Parag’s actions were justified. Is this a family or a soap opera debate club? 🥱
Anupama then has a heart-to-heart with Hasmukh, worrying that Rahi will struggle in the Kothari house. Hasmukh, in his classic wise old man style, drops a depressing truth bomb: You can’t change her destiny. Thanks for the pep talk, Hasmukh. Truly uplifting. 😒
Later, Parag invites Anupama and her family to lunch, offering to send a car like it’s some grand gesture. Anupama, ignoring his call, triggers Baa’s hopes that she’ll still show up. The episode ends with the Kotharis welcoming Prem and Rahi, while Anupama takes an unnecessary tumble. Prem helps her up, but Parag wastes no time taunting her about her divorce. Really, Parag? That’s your takeaway here? Someone get this man a new hobby. 🥴
