Kumkum Bhagya 26th January 2025 Written Update. The episode starts with Khushi bursting into the scene, hugging RV like she’s his long-lost savior. She’s all emotional and asks RV if he’s okay. RV, trying to be all cool and calm, says, “Yeah, I’m fine.” But you know, the tension in the room is hotter than the fire surrounding them. Purvi, meanwhile, plays the skeptical card and asks Khushi what on earth she’s doing there. Khushi, with her brave face, says she’s here to rescue them both. Oh, the drama!
RV, in full “Man with a Plan” mode, asks Khushi how they’ll escape. Purvi pipes up and confidently says she has a way out and asks them to follow her. (Let’s be honest, Purvi’s track record with plans isn’t exactly stellar, but okay.)
Meanwhile, Harleen, who seems to have adopted a new role as Monisha’s caretaker, asks Deepika to fetch some water for Monisha. Deepika, being the good soldier, leaves, but not without overhearing Monisha spin another one of her shady tales. Monisha tells Harleen that Purvi had brought Neha to kill her. (Yes, because that’s exactly how people casually plan murders—at family gatherings. 🤦) She goes on about how much she “loves” RV, practically screaming “I’m innocent!” at Harleen. Deepika, though, knows Monisha’s playing dirty and vows to keep an eye on her.
Back to the fire, Purvi, RV, and Khushi realize that their escape route is blocked. Khushi tries to play the hero and remembers some corporate fire training trick about using dirt to put out flames. (Wow, corporate training finally paid off!) Purvi, on the other hand, is suspicious of how Khushi conveniently knows these survival tips. The sass levels are high, but there’s no time for bickering because, you know, they’re surrounded by literal flames.
Meanwhile, Yug and Diya are running around like headless chickens, searching for a pipe to put out the fire. When they fail, they head back to Harleen, who finally decides to help them look. In the middle of this, Vaishali adds fuel to the drama, saying she’s sure Khushi is in love with RV. Of course, Monisha jumps on the bandwagon, claiming that Khushi might even hurt Purvi to get RV. (Someone get this woman a scriptwriter, because her imagination is wild!)
Monisha, ever the schemer, sneaks off into the fire herself. She praises her own genius for convincing everyone that Khushi is a threat. (Villains really do have all the fun, don’t they?) Now, she’s determined to make sure Purvi doesn’t make it out alive.
Back in the inferno, RV, Purvi, and Khushi realize they’re trapped. RV takes charge and goes off to find a way out. Khushi starts coughing like she’s in a melodrama, and Purvi, playing nurse, heads off to get water for her. But—surprise, surprise—the door locks behind her. Purvi shouts for help, while Monisha smirks from the shadows, thinking her evil plan is foolproof.
RV hears Purvi’s voice (because of course he does—this is TV logic) and rushes off to save her. Monisha tries to stop him with her classic “If you love me, don’t go” move. RV, like the good hero he is, dramatically declares that nothing matters when it comes to Purvi and storms off. (Cue the slow-motion walk through the flames.)
