The police inspector informs the Oberoi family that the ones they thought were cops were actually fake police officers. A major twist, as the real police were never involved in the first place. The fake cops and Pankaj, of course, try to run, but the real police catch them red-handed.
Plot Thickens with the Fake Theft Accusation:
The real police had come to investigate a supposed stolen necklace. Of course, Lakshmi is the one accused of stealing it, and the police announce they’re arresting her on the spot. Shalu, channeling her inner lawyer, protests, demanding an investigation first. The police inspector, not in the mood for debates, asks if anyone has a photo of the missing necklace. Kiran, always ready with evidence, presents the picture to the cops.
The police begin searching Lakshmi’s room, with Kiran offering unsolicited suggestions about where the necklace shouldn’t be. Thanks, Kiran, for the expert advice.
Pankaj’s Silence & Gunshot Drama:
The police inspector turns the heat up on Pankaj, demanding an explanation. When Pankaj remains silent, the inspector decides to fire a shot to get his attention — because, you know, it’s a great way to promote communication. Pankaj still stays mum. Suspense level 100.
Anushka and Neel, hearing the gunshot (because who wouldn’t), rush to see what’s happening. Naturally, Karishma and the police intercept them, with Karishma ordering them caught. Classic Karishma move.

The cops finally drag Anushka and Neel to the inspector, where they “find” the necklace. Everyone gets their Sherlock Holmes moments and Kiran is smugly reminded that maybe, just maybe, accusing Lakshmi was a bad idea. Rishi also chimes in, side-eyeing Kiran.
Anushka Takes Hostage: Suspense Mode Activated:
Then, in a shocking turn of events, Anushka, seeing everyone distracted, grabs Shalu and holds her hostage with a knife. Talk about upping the stakes — Anushka demands that the cops and family back off, essentially holding Shalu hostage in her bid for revenge.
Lakshmi and the others beg Anushka to let Shalu go, but Neel casually remarks that Anushka won’t release her. Ominous much? Pankaj tries to talk his way out of this, suggesting that Anushka and Neel might need to save their skins, but Anushka is all about drama and demands the release of her and Neel.
Anushka’s Final Speech & Malishka’s Burn:
Anushka unleashes a fiery speech about how the Oberoi family kicked her out of the house, putting the blame squarely on them. She attempts to leave with Shalu, but Rishi, in a last-ditch attempt at peace, offers her whatever she wants. Anushka, ever the firebrand, praises Lakshmi in front of Malishka, dropping a bombshell that no matter what Malishka does, Lakshmi will always win in the end. Yikes, Malishka!
