Once at the temple, Shalu stands before Maata Rani, pouring her heart out in prayer. She pleads for Ayush’s safety and well-being, confessing that she couldn’t express her true feelings for him. Tearfully, she admits that life without Ayush would be unbearable. Lakshmi watches this heartfelt moment, moved by Shalu’s vulnerability.
Lakshmi confronts Shalu, questioning why she rejected Ayush if she truly loves him. Shalu remains silent, unable to respond. Lakshmi presses her further, determined to get an answer.
Meanwhile, the police place Anushka in a cell. The officers warn her to get used to her new surroundings, as she’ll be there for a long time. Furious, Anushka threatens the lady constable, who firmly tells her to keep quiet or face consequences.
Back at the temple, Lakshmi urges Shalu to reconsider her decision, reminding her of Ayush’s deep love. Lakshmi reveals that Ayush had sought her help in convincing Shalu to be with him. She explains how Ayush had been forced into marrying Anushka due to circumstances beyond his control and that Shalu should forgive him.
Despite Lakshmi’s pleas, Shalu tries to walk away, but Lakshmi stops her, insisting that Ayush deserves a chance. Shalu, overwhelmed by emotions, finally admits that her love for Ayush is so strong that she can’t bear to see him hurt. Lakshmi questions why Shalu rejected him if her love is genuine.
Anushka, still filled with rage, blames Lakshmi for her downfall. She believes that if Lakshmi hadn’t entered Rishi’s life, Shalu wouldn’t have come into Ayush’s, and none of this chaos would have occurred. Anushka vows to destroy Lakshmi.
Back at the temple, Shalu reveals her real concern to Lakshmi—Neelam’s disapproval. She fears that marrying Ayush would lead to him losing everything, as Neelam holds immense power in their household. Lakshmi tries to reassure Shalu, claiming that Neelam doesn’t hate her. However, Shalu points out that while Neelam may tolerate her, she despises Lakshmi and would never permit the marriage.
At home, Neelam appears visibly worried about Ayush’s condition. Rishi decides to speak to the doctor about visiting Ayush and leaves.
Meanwhile, Kiran talks to Neelam, expressing her belief that Shalu is a bad omen for Ayush, blaming her for the misfortunes that have befallen him. Neelam firmly disagrees, asserting that Shalu is actually a good influence on Ayush.
Lakshmi continues urging Shalu not to let fear dictate her decisions. She insists that Shalu’s rejection is only causing Ayush more pain. Shalu, however, remains steadfast, arguing that saying yes would ruin Ayush’s entire future. She fears that a marriage without the family’s approval would never be truly accepted, drawing from her own experiences.
The episode highlights Shalu’s internal struggle between love and societal expectations, while Lakshmi stands as a voice of reason, urging her to follow her heart.
