Jhanak 1st February 2025 Written Update. In Jhanak today’s episode, Ketki channels her inner dictator, threatening to throw Prachi out of the house like she’s evicting an unwanted tenant. Enter Jhanak, the self-appointed family lawyer, who schools Ketki on legal rights and reminds her that Prachi has done so much for the family. But Ketki, clearly allergic to logic, scolds Jhanak for daring to teach her the law. Ketki, we get it—you prefer rulings based on mood swings, not the constitution.
Mahek chimes in, lamenting how Ketki constantly scolds Jhanak. Sejal, always ready with outdated wisdom, declares that daughters are just guests after marriage. Ma’am, are we living in the 1800s or what? Mahek, not having any of this nonsense, asserts her rights as a daughter of the house. Sejal, take notes.
As the drama brews, Ketki tries to shut everyone up, accusing Jhanak of manipulating the family. Jhanak fires back, questioning Ketki’s refusal to understand Priyanshi’s dreams. But Ketki, stuck in her “marriage-is-the-solution-to-everything” mindset, declares Priyanshi can pursue her dreams after marriage. Right, because nothing screams “dream fulfillment” like in-laws and household chores.
Priyanshi finally gathers the courage to say she doesn’t want to get married and wants to study instead. Bravo, girl! Ketki, predictably, panics and commands Prachi to knock some sense into Priyanshi. Sejal adds fuel to the fire, claiming Priyanshi is on the “wrong path.” What is this “wrong path” anyway? Education? Independence? Sejal, please get with the program.
Meanwhile, Arshi casually packs her bags while Anirudh assures her that Jhanak is safe. No one asked, Anirudh, but thanks for the update.
Later, Jhanak has a heartwarming moment with Ahaan, confessing how much she loves him and tucking him into bed. Vihaan, ever the eavesdropper, overhears and confronts Jhanak, insisting that Priyanshi’s marriage must happen without any complications. He even accuses Jhanak of being a problem magnet. Vihaan, sir, have you met yourself?
The conversation takes a weird turn when Vihaan proposes they become friends. Jhanak, understandably suspicious, warns him to come clean with his family about whatever skeletons are rattling in his closet. Vihaan awkwardly asks whether he should get married. Dude, maybe figure yourself out first before dragging someone else into your chaos.
He hints that Jhanak might be single, which prompts her to shut him down. Vihaan, read the room, bro. When he presses her about Anirudh’s claim that he saw her in Kolkata, Jhanak dismisses it, but Vihaan clearly doesn’t buy it.

Jhanak asks Pulkit to take Priyanshi for her inter-school competition, proving once again she’s Priyanshi’s biggest cheerleader. Priyanshi gleefully declares that Jhanak is fulfilling her dreams. Meanwhile, Ketki probably dreams of dragging Priyanshi to the altar ASAP.
