REVIEW: 6 Chills & Thrills from Aami Dakini That’ll Make You Question Every Haunted Haveli Ever

Get Ready to Scream: Sony TV’s Aami Dakini is Coming Soon!

Get Ready to Scream: Sony TV’s Aami Dakini is Coming Soon!

If Aahat gave you sleepless nights, brace yourself because Sony Entertainment Television is back with double the horror and double the chills in Aami Dakini! After a spine-chilling hiatus of nearly two decades, the iconic horror anthology is making its terrifying return. And trust us, this is no casual stroll in the haunted corridor.

A Bride… Or a Nightmare?

The teaser sets the eerie tone with a newlywed couple enjoying what should be a blissful marriage — until a spirit, dressed as a bride, decides to crash the honeymoon. And no, she’s not here to toss flowers or share wedding tips. With a bone-chilling voice, the ghost bride demands, “Kya Tum Mere Pati Ho?” as the poor husband spirals into terror-induced insanity. If this isn’t enough to make you cancel your evening walks down dimly lit corridors, we don’t know what will.

The Legacy of Fear Returns

For those who grew up watching Aahat (hiding behind pillows, of course), Aami Dakini is a nostalgic yet terrifying revival. Aahat, which first aired in 1995, earned a cult following with its anthology of paranormal tales featuring spine-tingling ghosts and bizarre supernatural encounters. It ran for a whopping 554 episodes across six successful seasons, making horror a household genre long before OTT platforms took over.

Cast and Crew Update

The new installment stars the talented Rohit Chandel as the male lead and Sheen Dass as the female lead. With Raju Singh composing the signature eerie music, expect goosebumps to come free with every episode.

What Can Viewers Expect?

Judging by the teaser, Aami Dakini promises a gripping blend of psychological horror and supernatural elements. The theme of obsession, identity, and spectral seduction hints that the series will be more than just jump scares. It’s a deep dive into fear and desire with a ghostly twist — because nothing says “romantic tragedy” like a spirit bride refusing to take no for an answer.

Aahat Fans, Rejoice!

If you missed the haunting tales of Aahat, this is your chance to relive the terror with a modern twist. And if you’re new to this iconic horror franchise, prepare to sleep with the lights on.

Why You Should Watch:

  • For the thrill-seekers who love a good scare
  • For nostalgia lovers who binged Aahat as kids
  • For anyone curious to see how a ghost bride negotiates marital claims

Sony TV’s Aami Dakini is here to prove that love triangles are passé when you can have a spectral quadrangle instead.

So, are you ready to scream your lungs out? Aami Dakini will soon haunt your living rooms exclusively on Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV. Stay tuned… or stay scared!

Tagline: Kya tum mere pati ho? Think fast, because the ghost bride certainly has.

You are super confused in this article. Aami Dakini is an original show and has nothing to do with Aahat – you are implying this is a new season or continuation of Aahat. Aahat has only been used in the marketing material for this show to tell people that this will equally scary as Aahat (plus both shows are from the same channel).

Incidentally Aahat season 7 is coming soon but no release date has been given. Plus it’s been 1 decade since Aahat season 6 which last aired in 2015 (not a 2 decade hiatus as you wrote)

I’m sorry if that’s the case, but Aahat was actually mentioned in the show’s promo.
