Anupama 12th February 2025 Written Update. Today in Anupama written update, Prem and Rahi share a heartfelt moment as they embrace the simplicity of their small flat, valuing love over luxury. Meanwhile, Parag confides in Khyati about his concerns regarding Prem. He admits that although he has never openly expressed it, he is genuinely happy that Prem has returned. However, he fears that in his absence, Prem might take over the business, which leaves him feeling insecure. Parag pleads with Khyati to convince Prem to stay, warning that he will be shattered if his son leaves again. Khyati consoles him, promising to make an effort.
Prem, meanwhile, expresses his desire to spend the night at the Shah house. Khyati, desperate to keep him at home, pleads with him to return for Parag and Baa’s sake. However, Prem questions whether they are spying on his actions. He criticizes Khyati for always prioritizing Parag’s work over her own opinions, treating him more like an assistant than a family member. At the same time, Anupama learns of Prem and Rahi’s decision to live separately after marriage.
Meeta questions Khyati’s persistence in interfering with Prem’s decisions. Khyati defends her actions, asserting that as a mother, she has the right to try until she succeeds in bringing Prem back home. Meanwhile, Anupama confronts Prem about his choice to live separately post-marriage. Hasmuk and Leela also express their doubts, questioning why he would leave a life of luxury for a modest existence. Paritosh exclaims, “Who leaves a lavish life and stays in the flat?” Leela believes Prem is playing with both families’ emotions.
Prem justifies his choice, explaining that his decision is based on personal reasons. Kinjal reminds him that marriage isn’t just about love—it requires adjustment and family support, especially when children come into the picture. However, Prem reassures everyone that he will keep Rahi happy. Anupama, concerned for the larger family dynamic, urges him to remember his responsibilities beyond his marriage. Vasundhara, on the other hand, accuses Anupama and Rahi of manipulating Prem into leaving. In a dramatic revelation, Prem exposes Vasundhara’s deceit, accusing her of faking her illness, which led to his feelings of betrayal. He declares that while the wedding will happen at the Kothari house, he will leave immediately after the rituals. Baa criticizes Anupama, stating that instead of convincing Prem to stay, she has encouraged his departure.
Hasmuk, bewildered by Prem’s choice, wonders why he desires a middle-class lifestyle. Pakhi suggests that Parag should adopt them instead of clinging to Prem. Leela is left disappointed in Prem’s actions. In a surprising move, Pakhi decides to send Ishani to live at Parag’s house. Meanwhile, Rahi confesses to Anupama that she truly wants to reunite Prem with his family. Anupama wisely states that post-marriage, it will be up to Prem and Rahi to decide how they want to lead their life together. Despite her personal disagreements with the Kotharis, she chooses to support Rahi in her decision.
Khyati later meets Rahi, expressing her concerns about Parag and Baa’s love for Prem. She earnestly requests Rahi’s help in convincing Prem to reconsider his decision. The emotional turmoil continues as the family struggles to bridge the gap between love, duty, and expectations.
Precap:
Baa insists that Hasmuk wash Prem’s feet as part of the wedding ritual. Anupama steps forward, declaring that she will perform the ritual on Anuj’s behalf.
Analysis:
Oh, the melodrama never ceases! Prem wants to swap a palatial mansion for a humble flat, and suddenly, the entire universe is falling apart. Parag, the self-proclaimed business tycoon, is having an existential crisis because his son might—gasp—actually take over the business. Khyati, instead of letting her son breathe, is on a mission to guilt-trip him into staying, as if he’s packing up to move to another planet instead of a different house.
Leela and Hasmuk, the eternal commentators, seem utterly perplexed by the idea of someone choosing love over wealth. And let’s not forget Vasundhara, the reigning queen of emotional blackmail, whose fake illness trick just backfired spectacularly. The audacity of her still trying to play victim is chef’s kiss level of ridiculous.
Anupama, as usual, tries to be the voice of reason, but everyone conveniently blames her for influencing Prem. Because, of course, a grown man making his own decisions must be brainwashed by someone else, right? Pakhi’s bright idea of sending Ishani to Parag’s house just adds another unnecessary subplot to this already chaotic mix.
Ultimately, the family’s obsession with controlling Prem’s life is suffocating. Maybe they should all take a step back, sip some chai, and let the man live his life instead of treating him like the last heir to the throne. But then again, where would be the daily drama in that?
