Kumkum Bhagya 14th February 2025 Written Update. Today in Kumkum Bhagya, the episode begins with Monisha visiting Jasbir in jail, furious that he exposed her and brought RV and Purvi closer. She grabs his collar, demanding an explanation. Jasbir retorts that it was the first time Purvi had ever asked something from him—she had begged him in tears. Unable to see her in pain, he revealed the truth. Monisha taunts him, questioning if he can tolerate seeing Purvi with RV. Jasbir declares he will never let that happen and vows to separate them once he is out of prison. Monisha, however, smirks and drops a bombshell—Purvi is pregnant. Jasbir is shocked, but Monisha confirms it with a mocking remark.
Meanwhile, the Malhotra family is shown doting on Purvi, who is now six months pregnant. Harleen shares the news that their doctor has permitted Purvi to travel to Vaishno Devi temple, which excites her. Just then, Armaan arrives at the mansion, asking for Khushi. Dadaji tells him she is in the kitchen, prompting an irritated reaction from Armaan. When Khushi comes to meet him, Armaan asks when she will return home. Khushi replies she will stay a few more days. Armaan, filled with frustration, warns that he is tolerating this only because Purvi is her sister—otherwise, he would have taught her a lesson. RV intervenes, reminding Armaan that they all stand by Khushi, and she tells RV to ignore him. Armaan, still seething, inquires about the temple trip, and Harleen informs him they are leaving the next day.
Later, Armaan privately confronts Khushi, demanding to know why she doesn’t stop RV’s family from humiliating him. Khushi argues that they weren’t insulting him, but Armaan doesn’t accept it. He aggressively warns her that once she returns home, if she dares to speak against him, she will regret it. Before things escalate, Purvi steps in, fearlessly warning Armaan that if he ever misbehaves with Khushi, he will land in jail. Khushi pulls Purvi away, trying to avoid more conflict.
Armaan then calls Monisha, informing her about RV’s family’s upcoming temple visit. He sees this as a golden opportunity for Monisha to eliminate Purvi. Monisha agrees, seeing her chance for revenge. She later visits Jasbir, asking if he still wants to get back at RV. Jasbir readily agrees, but he hesitates when Monisha suggests killing Purvi. However, when she reminds him that Purvi is carrying RV’s baby, Jasbir’s hesitation fades, and he agrees.
That night, Purvi has a terrifying dream of being chased by unknown figures who want to harm her. She wakes up in a panic and shares the nightmare with RV, who reassures her that nothing will happen to her under his watch.
The next morning, as the family prepares for their journey, Vaishali brings a coconut to break before leaving. Deepika warns that if the coconut doesn’t crack in one strike, it’s considered inauspicious. Harleen takes charge, attempting to break it, but it remains intact. While Dadi tries to brush it off, Harleen finds the omen troubling.
Elsewhere, Monisha impatiently questions Jasbir about his delay. Jasbir smirks and pulls out a gun and knife, revealing that he had gone to fetch them—setting the stage for a dangerous confrontation ahead.
Precap: The Malhotra family begins their journey to Vaishno Devi, unaware of the looming threat. Monisha and Jasbir set their plan in motion, determined to eliminate Purvi once and for all.
Insights
The episode builds intense suspense with a mix of emotional and dramatic confrontations. Jasbir’s unexpected emotional side towards Purvi adds depth to his character, but his loyalty remains questionable. Monisha’s persistent scheming and Armaan’s toxic dominance show that both will go to any lengths to destroy Purvi’s happiness. The temple trip angle adds an element of fate and superstition, further increasing the tension.
Review
While the episode keeps the audience engaged, the overuse of typical revenge tropes—like plotting against a pregnant woman—makes it predictable. Armaan’s character continues to be irritatingly regressive, and his unchecked behavior toward Khushi is exhausting. However, Purvi standing up to him was a refreshing moment. The failed coconut-breaking scene tries too hard to create suspense but feels forced. Overall, it’s a decent episode but could use more originality.
