Bhagya Lakshmi 12th March 2025 Written Update: Malishka’s Never-Ending Schemes

Bhagya Lakshmi 17th February 2025 Written Update

Bhagya Lakshmi 17th February 2025 Written Update. Today in Bhagya Lakshmi written update, the episode begins with Anushka finally attending Malishka’s call. Malishka, who has the patience of a hyperactive squirrel, immediately complains about Anushka ignoring her. Anushka, in her usual melodramatic tone, explains that she lives alone and has to do all the work herself. (Because clearly, answering a phone call while “working” is too much to handle.) She asks Malishka to get to the point instead of wasting time. Malishka, always up to some mischief, informs Anushka that Ayush and Shalu are out shopping for their wedding jewelry. Of course, Malishka can’t digest anyone else’s happiness, so she quickly manipulates Anushka by reminding her how Lakshmi and Shalu ruined her life. She subtly provokes her, asking if she plans to sit quietly while they move forward with their happy lives. Anushka, who never misses a chance to create chaos, confidently states that she won’t let the wedding happen and will make sure to ruin everything. Malishka smirks, satisfied that her little plan is working, knowing that Anushka’s interference will also create problems for Rishi and Lakshmi.

Meanwhile, Rishi, Ayush, Lakshmi, and Shalu arrive at the jewelry store. Ayush and Shalu excitedly check out the collection, while Rishi, ever the gentleman, asks Lakshmi to pick something for herself. But Lakshmi, being the ultimate self-sacrificing soul, refuses and instead suggests that Rishi should buy something for Malishka since she couldn’t come. (Seriously, Lakshmi needs to stop acting like a saint. Who sacrifices jewelry shopping?!) She then walks away, leaving Rishi looking disappointed.

Back at the scheming headquarters, Anushka and her minion Neel are plotting their next move. Neel, however, seems to have developed a rare moment of common sense and refuses to go to the jewelry store to plant stolen jewelry in Lakshmi and Shalu’s bags. He tells Anushka that it’s too risky and backs out. Anushka, not one to take no for an answer, tries to guilt-trip him, but he doesn’t fall for it and leaves. Left with no choice, Anushka decides to take matters into her own hands. She hatches a ridiculous plan to disguise herself as a Gurkha and enter the jewelry store so that no one will recognize her. (Because obviously, dressing as a security guard is the best way to avoid suspicion in a high-security store!)

Just then, Kiran arrives and scolds Anushka for ignoring Malishka’s calls. Anushka, in her usual smug tone, tells Kiran that she has already spoken to Malishka and assures her that she will do something to send Lakshmi and Shalu to jail. She then marches off with newfound determination. (At this point, Anushka’s obsession with Lakshmi and Shalu is getting creepier than a horror movie villain.)

Meanwhile, at the Oberoi Mansion, Mukesh is on the phone, gossiping about Malishka spraining her ankle. His conversation is overheard by none other than Balwinder, the resident creep, who decides to visit Malishka to check on her. (Clearly, he has nothing better to do.)

Back at the jewelry store, Rishi once again tries to talk to Lakshmi, sensing that she has something on her mind. Lakshmi, sticking to her usual “I will suffer in silence” attitude, brushes it off and tells him there’s nothing to discuss. She then asks Rishi to stop following her around and leaves. (If only she put as much effort into confronting her problems as she does into avoiding them!)

Ayush, who seems to have a big revelation to share, rushes to Rishi, eager to spill some tea. But Lakshmi, always alert when it comes to controlling situations, panics at the thought that Ayush might reveal her conversation with Neelam. She quickly intervenes, dragging Rishi away before Ayush can open his mouth.

To distract Rishi, Lakshmi pretends to be interested in engagement rings for Ayush and Shalu. She calls a saleswoman and asks her to show them some options. Rishi, being his usual clueless self, struggles to pick one, so Lakshmi suggests choosing one for Shalu since their ring sizes match. Rishi goes along with it, slipping a ring onto Lakshmi’s finger. And, of course, in typical serial fashion, the ring gets stuck. Cue awkward tension, romantic eye locks, and Rishi’s failed attempts at helping Lakshmi remove it. (At this point, it’s surprising that the writers haven’t run out of these forced “oops” moments.)

Meanwhile, Balwinder arrives at the Oberoi Mansion, ready to check on Malishka. But Malishka, who doesn’t want to be caught in a compromising situation, desperately tries to send him away. Just as things get suspicious, Neelam and Karishma enter Malishka’s room and spot an unknown man lurking inside. (Because Malishka’s room is apparently a public place where anyone can randomly walk in.)

With Malishka getting caught in yet another mess, Rishi and Lakshmi trapped in their awkward ring moment, and Anushka gearing up for her master plan, the episode ends with yet another round of brewing drama. If only these characters put as much effort into their actual lives as they do into scheming and sabotaging others, they might actually get somewhere!

Insights:

  • Anushka’s Downward Spiral: Anushka’s obsession with ruining Lakshmi and Shalu’s lives continues to spiral out of control. It’s almost entertaining how every time she tries to outdo the other characters, she ends up looking like a walking disaster. The lengths she’s willing to go to (disguising herself as a Gurkha!) only make her plans more absurd. It’s safe to say she’s a master of creating chaos but not actually executing her ideas well.
  • Rishi & Lakshmi’s Relationship Dynamics: Rishi’s constant attempts to communicate with Lakshmi, though well-meaning, often go unnoticed or misinterpreted. The forced tension created around the ring moment was amusing but predictable. The fact that they continue to have these awkward moments is both frustrating and somewhat adorable. It’s clear the writers love to build slow-burn romance with endless misunderstandings.
  • Malishka’s Strategy: Malishka has a tendency to sit back and let others do the dirty work for her, like when she gets Anushka to create trouble. Malishka’s manipulation game is strong, but she is becoming predictable. However, it’s hilarious how she’s always caught in messy situations, either by Balwinder or her own schemes.
  • Ayush’s Involvement: Ayush seems caught in the middle of things, always attempting to do the right thing but often getting lost in the chaos around him. He adds an innocent dynamic to the otherwise overly dramatic scenes.

Bhagya Lakshmi 17th February 2025 Episode Review:

This episode, like many others, follows the classic soap opera formula: misunderstanding, awkward moments, and over-the-top scheming. While the plot does have its engaging moments, especially with Anushka’s never-ending attempts to ruin everyone’s lives, it starts to feel repetitive. The whole jewelry shopping scenario, with Rishi and Lakshmi’s awkward interactions and the predictable “ring getting stuck” moment, felt like filler. However, the build-up to the inevitable confrontation between Malishka and her family members was the highlight. Balwinder’s involvement brings an interesting twist, keeping things slightly unpredictable. Overall, the episode was entertaining in parts but could’ve been trimmed down for a more impactful progression of the plot.

Best Dialogue:

  • Anushka to Neel: “I thought you were going to help me, not run away like a coward.”
(Anushka’s dramatic frustration really encapsulates her over-the-top character. It’s a perfect example of her desperation and self-centeredness.)

Rating:

3.5/5 – A decent episode with entertaining drama and characters who keep delivering their usual antics. Though there are moments that feel tired or repetitive, it’s still engaging enough to keep watching.
