In anger, he throws his phone, which accidentally hits Sowmya’s hand, causing her to drop the medicine. She scolds Adit for being careless. Adit feels attacked and accuses her of mocking his situation. Sowmya retaliates, saying that he is selfish and doesn’t realize how much she is handling alone. She mentions using her savings for household expenses and gets upset that she has to clean up the broken medicine as well. She storms off.
Mangal brings Adit coffee and notices the mess. She offers to clean the floor. Adit feels guilty for treating her badly earlier. Meanwhile, Sowmya is working on her laptop when Kusum throws dirty shirts on her, complaining that she hasn’t washed Adit’s clothes. Sowmya says she has more important work. Kusum compares her to Mangal, saying they never neglected Adit’s needs before. Mangal overhears everything.
Mangal experiments with food by drying it in the sun. When she serves it, her daughter makes fun of her. Adit questions the situation, and Kusum mocks Mangal’s food experiment. Ishana jokes that Mangal has become a scientist. Sowmya sarcastically asks if she’s trying to preserve food for five days. Mangal explains that adding warm water will make it edible, but the family refuses to taste it. Feeling disheartened, Mangal pretends to faint. Adit gets worried and asks what happened. Mangal reveals that it was a prank, stating that if they can make fun of her food, she can prank them too. She tastes the food and praises it, encouraging the family to try it. Surprisingly, they love the taste.
Adit, feeling useless at home, tries to help his children, but they refuse his assistance. He attempts to help Kusum, but she also dismisses him, saying he should rest. Frustrated, he insists that he’s been resting all day and is bored. Mangal struggles to pack large quantities of food properly. Adit advises her to use air-tight containers and orders some online. He joins her in packing the food. Sowmya disapproves of this bonding moment.
Meanwhile, Karthik gets into a heated argument with a producer, accusing him of releasing his song without permission. The producer reminds Karthik that he attended the promotion and that the song was a hit. Their fight escalates. Lakshmi intervenes to calm Karthik, but he refuses to let the producer go unpunished. The producer, in turn, threatens to sue Karthik. Security is called, but Lakshmi defends Karthik and takes him away.
Jia arrives and hugs Karthik. He vents his frustration about the producer. However, media reporters are present, and Lakshmi warns that they might ask sensitive questions that could create trouble. Jia fears they might bring up the molestation case, which would ruin her plan. Lakshmi insists on taking Karthik away, but he doesn’t understand why she’s avoiding the reporters.
The reporters bombard Jia with questions about Karthik. They specifically ask why Karthik is still with her after their breakup and if they have reconciled. Karthik, confused, remains silent while Lakshmi drags him away. Jia avoids answering the reporters.
Later, Karthik demands answers from Lakshmi, sensing that something is off. Gayatri finally reveals that he lost his memory due to an accident. He had broken up with Jia a month ago but forgot about it. Shocked, Karthik questions why no one told him earlier. He feels embarrassed for acting like a fool in front of everyone. Gayatri justifies her silence, saying she wanted to protect him from stress. Karthik, however, accuses her of being wrong and storms off.
Lakshmi confronts Gayatri, saying they had a perfect opportunity to reveal the whole truth. Gayatri insists that Karthik already reacted badly to a partial truth and wouldn’t be able to handle everything at once. She prioritizes his well-being over anything else.
Karthik, still upset, lashes out at Lakshmi, demanding the full truth. Lakshmi tries to calm him down, but he refuses to listen. Later, while practicing a song, he forgets the lyrics. Lakshmi secretly helps him remember. This triggers flashes of his lost memory, hinting at a possible breakthrough.
