YRKKH 17th February 2025 Written Update. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, the episode begins with Charu and Vidya in conversation, where Charu expresses that it’s not ethical for Abhira to want to meet Arman. Vidya asks Charu if she is going to teach her system, to which Charu replies that Arman is not at home. Abhira, however, informs everyone that Arman is also missing from the office. Kajal urges Abhira to check, while Rohit tells Vidya to stop overreacting. Meanwhile, Swarna tells Kaveri that she has sent RK’s address to her. Manish, puzzled by Kaveri’s desire to meet RK in person, questions why she doesn’t just invite him over a call. Kaveri, on the other hand, insists that she wants to personally invite him. Swarna jokingly asks Manish if he enjoys teasing Kaveri, but Manish maintains that it is strange for Kaveri to want to meet RK without any clear reason.
Abhira, driven by curiosity, sneaks into Madhav’s room in search of answers regarding Shivani. To her surprise, she finds that there is no picture of Shivani. Abhira then discovers the key to Shivani’s house and decides to investigate further. As she’s on her way, she bumps into Arman, who, while thinking about RK, confronts Abhira and asks what she is doing in Madhav’s room. Arman admits that he has no right to Abhira but expresses his longing for an explanation and tells her to do whatever she wants.
Meanwhile, Kaveri arrives at RK’s house, where RK questions her visit. Kaveri, probing for information, attempts to learn more about Shivani and invites RK to Charu’s wedding. Shivani, feeling uneasy, wonders who RK is speaking to and decides to check. Kaveri, upon noticing a picture of RK and Shivani together, is shocked, and RK quickly asks her to leave.
Abhira, still searching for answers, reaches Shivani’s house and tries to find a picture of both Madhav and Shivani. As she investigates, Shivani asks RK about the visitor, and RK tells her about Charu and Abhir’s wedding invitation. Shivani, troubled by Kaveri’s visit, asks RK to leave. RK tries to console Shivani, but she continues to worry about Kaveri’s intentions.
While at Shivani’s house, Abhira stumbles upon an old picture of Madhav and Shivani. However, the picture is unclear, particularly the face of Madhav’s wife. Back at the office, Vidya asks Arman if he is upset with her due to his ongoing tension with Abhira. Arman admits that he is upset not with Vidya but with himself for letting his desire to be a good son ruin his marriage. He defends Abhira, claiming she tried to save their relationship while he was stubborn. Arman apologizes for his behavior and requests that Vidya accept that they will not find a better daughter-in-law than Abhira. He tells Vidya to focus on being happy.
The episode ends with both Abhira and Arman reflecting on each other on Valentine’s Day. By chance, they cross paths in a shop, their lingering feelings evident as they share an unspoken connection.
Precap:
In the precap, Abhira becomes alarmed when she discovers that the picture of Arman’s real mother has been sent to the Poddar house. She is further shocked to find Kaveri burning the photo, raising questions about Kaveri’s true motives and setting the stage for the next set of confrontations.
Insights:
The episode dives deeper into the emotional complexities of the characters, with Abhira’s curiosity leading her into increasingly precarious situations, like sneaking into Madhav’s room. The show is taking its time to reveal the secrets surrounding Madhav, Shivani, and RK, but the slow burn can be frustrating for viewers craving quicker developments. Arman’s internal conflict between his duty to his family and his feelings for Abhira remains at the forefront, with him finally acknowledging his role in the downfall of their relationship. The precap hints at more drama, with Kaveri’s actions raising the stakes even higher, suggesting a greater mystery around the identity of Arman’s biological mother.
Review:
Once again, this episode feels like a lot of filler. The whole Madhav and Shivani mystery is dragging, and Abhira’s continued snooping is becoming repetitive. Arman’s moment of self-reflection could have been more impactful, but it came across as more of a narrative device than a true breakthrough. Kaveri’s actions regarding the picture seem overly dramatic, and the plot twist felt like another forced attempt to keep viewers on edge. The slow pace and repetitive storylines are starting to wear thin, and it’s hard to see much progress being made here.
Best Dialogue:
Arman says to Vidya, “Abhira tried to save our relationship, but I was adamant.” This line showcases his regret and sets up his eventual apology to Abhira.
Rating: 2.5/5
