GHKKPM 19th February 2025 Written Update. Today in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein written update, Teju and Vedant realize something is terribly wrong when Mohit remains unresponsive. Teju, sensing panic, calls for Mukta, who rushes in and desperately tries to wake him. But Mohit remains still, and Mukta spirals into full-blown panic mode. She demands a doctor immediately, and Teju obliges.
The doctor arrives, examines Mohit, and drops the ultimate bombshell—Mohit is no more. Cue the classic TV tragedy sequence. Teju and Vedant refuse to accept reality, trying to wake him up like it’s some kind of twisted fairy tale. Mukta, completely shattered, pleads with Mohit to wake up, but obviously, that’s not happening.
Onlookers awkwardly hover, suggesting it’s time to prepare for last rites. The family collapses in grief. Some relatives try to console Mukta, while others suggest informing Mohit’s parents. Mukta, drowning in heartbreak, agrees to make the call.
Mukta dials Chavan Niwas, and Lakshmi answers. Mukta introduces herself as Mohit’s wife and delivers the devastating news. But Lakshmi, living in complete denial, refuses to believe a word. Instead, she pulls the ultimate “I’m his real wife” card and accuses Mukta of lying. The stress is too much—Mukta collapses on the spot.
Teju, taking charge, picks up the phone and introduces herself as Mohit’s daughter. With a heavy heart, she repeats the news. This time, it actually lands—Lakshmi, in utter shock, collapses too. Because why should only one person get the dramatic fainting moment?
At Chavan Niwas, the family scrambles to help Lakshmi, while back at Mukta’s side, Teju tries to wake her up. Realizing the situation is getting out of hand, Teju calls Rituraj for help.
Meanwhile, in a completely unrelated moment, Neil enters Rituraj’s room to deliver a parcel. Rituraj is conveniently in the shower when his phone rings. Neil, being nosy, picks up. Teju, assuming he’s Rituraj, drops the heartbreaking news with a trembling voice—her father is no more.

The episode delivers on emotions but leans too much into the predictable melodrama. The wife battle felt forced and unnecessary, while Teju emerges as the only character with an actual functioning brain. The pacing was decent, but the overdose of fainting scenes made it feel like a soap opera checklist. While the tension was effective, it lacked subtlety, making it an average emotional episode rather than a standout one.
Best Dialogue:
Teju to Lakshmi: “Agar yeh jhoot hota, toh main apne pita ka naam aise kaise le sakti?” (“If this was a lie, how could I take my father’s name like this?”) – A rare moment of raw emotion that actually hit hard.
Rating: 3/5 ⭐ – Emotional but predictable, with a sprinkle of forced dramatics.
Precap: Mohit’s family plans to take Mukta and her kids to Nagpur. But Lakshmi, fueled by rage, declares that if Mukta sets foot in Chavan Niwas, she’ll set the whole house on fire. Because mature problem-solving clearly isn’t an option.
