Shrishti, with a heavy heart, admits that she accepts Jhanak’s anger because she knows she has wronged her in the past.
Meanwhile, amidst the haldi ceremony, Jhanak applies turmeric to the guests and dances joyfully. Her lively presence irritates Arshi, who abruptly commands her to stop, remarking sarcastically that everyone already knows how well Jhanak can dance. Unfazed, Jhanak counters that Arshi is a legacy dancer, indirectly implying that Arshi, too, holds a place in the world of dance. Before the tension escalates, Dadi intervenes, urging everyone to focus on completing the ritual first.
Shrishti then approaches Jhanak for a conversation. Jhanak, weary of Shrishti’s attempts, questions what more she could possibly expect from her. She reveals that every time Shrishti calls her “daughter,” she is reminded of Urvashi, hinting at a painful past and unresolved emotions.
In a separate moment, Anirudh playfully applies haldi to Choton’s face. As he turns around, he accidentally collides with Jhanak, leaving everyone in shock. The sudden contact between them does not go unnoticed, and Arshi, visibly frustrated, tells Anirudh that such incidents were bound to happen. Anirudh defends himself, clarifying that it was purely accidental. However, Arshi remains unfazed and declares that these moments will not change anything because she is his wife. Anirudh, sensing the growing tension, remarks that destiny has its own way of playing games. He reminds Arshi that it is Choton’s wedding and encourages everyone to enjoy the occasion. To lighten the mood, he asks Vihaan to dance with him and joins others in celebration.
Bipasha, seizing an opportunity to taunt Jhanak, questions whether she will dance now. Jhanak, standing her ground, replies that she will dance only when she wishes to, refusing to be forced into anything. Bipasha then snidely comments that Jhanak should never have returned to the house, making it clear that her presence is unwelcome. The episode kicks off with Vihaan questioning Jhanak about her decision, and it’s almost laughable how he clings to the idea that Jhanak would somehow change her mind. Jhanak, in her ever-sacrificial mode, reminds him that his family has made it clear they don’t like her. Vihaan, in his overdramatic self, declares that he may even leave his house in the future, as if that’s supposed to be some grand romantic gesture. Newsflash, Vihaan: nobody really cares. He insists that Ahaan needs Jhanak, but honestly, the kid might be better off without this endless melodrama. Meanwhile, Anirudh overhears their conversation, because in this household, eavesdropping is practically a family tradition. Jhanak expresses how much she missed Ahaan, adding to the emotional manipulation Vihaan is trying to pull off. Just as things seem to settle, Anirudh drops the bomb that Vihaan has already made up his mind to leave after Choton’s wedding. Jhanak is stunned, but Vihaan, ever the self-righteous one, declares that he won’t be attending the reception either. Jhanak warns him that people will misunderstand his sudden departure, but Vihaan shrugs it off like he’s too cool to care about public perception.
Meanwhile, Bipasha corners Laal and questions him about his recent trip to Basti. Laal, a pathological liar in the making, denies everything, but Bipasha isn’t convinced. She speculates that Kaka might have lied, but Laal plays along with the doubt. Bipasha, always hungry for drama, then drops the breaking news of the day—Jhimli has eloped with a significant amount of money. Her joy at Lalon’s misery is both disturbing and predictable. Bipasha, drunk on her own pettiness, even decides to visit the temple to thank God for Jhimli’s betrayal, because apparently, divine intervention works in the most ridiculous ways in this universe.
As the wedding preparations continue, Dadi smugly remarks that she’s glad the haldi ceremony went smoothly, but the real drama is yet to unfold. She then questions Arshi’s absence from the wedding, and Arshi, in her usual entitled manner, claims she doesn’t want to take any risks. Because, you know, attending a wedding is now equivalent to walking into a battlefield. Dadi, reluctantly accepting reality, admits that she dislikes Jhanak but acknowledges they have no other choice but to let her stay. Meanwhile, Bipasha and Laal enter with their usual negativity, with Bipasha gloating over Jhimli’s betrayal as if she just won the lottery. Bipasha’s enthusiasm for ruining lives is almost admirable in its sheer consistency.
When Dadi asks if Bipasha will attend the wedding, Bipasha acts as if she just remembered there was an event happening. Priorities, right? She then dramatically prays for bad things to happen to Jhanak because if she’s not spreading negativity, is she even Bipasha? Choton arrives, and Bipasha immediately switches gears, congratulating him with her signature fake enthusiasm. Choton, finally having had enough, scolds her. Laal jumps in to support Bipasha, and the two engage in a pointless argument about who gets to be the biggest instigator. Tanuja, never missing an opportunity to add fuel to the fire, calls out the chaos while Dadi steps in to send Choton away to get ready. Arshi, ever the master of snide comments, claims that Choton won’t understand her. Choton, proving that he still has a backbone, declares that Jhanak is his responsibility. Dadi, once again pretending to be the voice of reason, dismisses Choton before more fireworks go off.
As the wedding preparations progress, Jhanak, against all odds, gets ready too. Arshi, spotting her, immediately launches into an interrogation, demanding to know why Jhanak is all dressed up. Jhanak, maintaining her grace, simply says she will return soon. Anjana attempts to smooth things over by offering to stay with Arshi, but Choton, playing peacemaker, argues that even Meenu wants Jhanak at the wedding. Arshi, playing the martyr, suddenly changes her stance and tells Anjana to go enjoy the event. The way Arshi swings between victimhood and control is honestly exhausting.
Anirudh, ever the confused hero, announces he will stay with Arshi because she is his responsibility. Choton calls him out for this sudden change of heart, but Arshi, ever the ice queen, declares that she doesn’t need anyone to stay with her. Anjana tries to pacify the situation, but Arshi, in her classic stubbornness, dismisses everyone. Bablu steps in with some rare common sense, reminding them that Arshi is a grown woman who doesn’t need babysitting. Tanuja offers to stay, but Arshi waves her off, declaring that only her maid is needed. And then comes the moment of gold—Mimi, tired of the nonsense, claps back, pointing out that Arshi just called her own sister a maid. The room falls into an awkward silence as Arshi, unwilling to back down, tells Mimi to shut up. Mimi, refusing to be silenced, reminds everyone that the truth about Arshi and Jhanak’s relationship isn’t exactly a secret.
Meanwhile, in a side plot that is equal parts ridiculous and predictable, Anindo takes Jhimli to his house. Jhimli, clearly unimpressed, notes that his house isn’t as grand as he claimed. Anindo’s father, already skeptical, demands to know when this supposed marriage happened. Jhimli, with nothing to lose, reveals her origins in Basti. Anindo, whispering like a third-rate scam artist, tells his parents that Jhimli brought 50 lakhs with her. Because, clearly, marriage is just another business transaction in his book. He excitedly tells them to start planning a reception, but his mother, unimpressed, immediately asks if Jhimli knows how to cook. Jhimli, realizing she’s in for a rough ride, replies that she knows a little. Well, that’s one way to guarantee a frosty welcome into the family.
Back at the wedding venue, Choton notices Vihaan is missing. Anirudh confirms that Vihaan has already left, solidifying his role as the king of unnecessary dramatics. Choton proceeds to take blessings from the elders, including Tanuja, because, at this point, traditions must be upheld, no matter the surrounding chaos. Anirudh, still stuck in his feelings, compliments Jhanak, but Jhanak, done with the emotional back-and-forth, tells him to go use those words on Arshi instead. Burn. Anirudh, clearly struggling, wonders how he can convince Jhanak that he didn’t betray her.

This episode delivered peak melodrama with a side of well-executed pettiness. Bipasha continues to be the reigning queen of negativity, while Arshi’s ability to flip between victim and villain remains unmatched. Jhanak, as usual, plays the self-sacrificing protagonist, while Anirudh’s indecisiveness is enough to make anyone scream into a pillow. The highlight was undoubtedly Mimi calling out Arshi’s hypocrisy—finally, someone with a backbone in this madhouse. The side plot with Jhimli is absurd but entertaining, adding just the right amount of chaos. Overall, this episode had a lot of dramatic highs and left enough unanswered tensions to keep things interesting.
