Today in Kumkum Bhagya written update, the episode begins with Smita demanding that Kinjal open a box to reveal its contents. When she looks inside, she finds only laddoos. Prarthna interjects, claiming that she saw Ketki placing a diamond bracelet in her purse. Smita, displeased with Prarthna’s interference in their family matter, questions her authority to speak. However, Baa defends Prarthna, saying she is merely reporting what she saw. Smita, unwilling to take Prarthna’s word at face value, decides to call Ketki to confirm the claim. She warns Prarthna that if her accusation turns out to be false, she will hold her responsible for the alleged theft.
Upon answering the call, Ketki admits to taking the diamond bracelet. She explains that she wanted to gift Sneha the entire jewelry set rather than just the bracelet, which is why she retrieved it. Satisfied with the response, Smita ends the call and announces to her family that she was unaware of Ketki’s intentions. She then exits, leaving the rest of the family to absorb the situation.
Kranti apologizes to Kinjal and Baa for Smita’s behavior, acknowledging the unnecessary tension it caused. Shortly after, Raunak arrives and expresses his gratitude to Prarthna for speaking up, as her honesty prevented Kinjal from facing undue embarrassment. He acknowledges her intervention and makes a remark, to which Prarthna responds with her own comment.
As Prarthna prepares to leave Raunak’s home, she notices a familiar car parked outside. Recognizing it as belonging to the modeling agency boss, her curiosity is piqued. She decides to investigate and see who the boss truly is.
It is then revealed that Vihaan, who has just stepped out of the car, is the very owner of the modeling agency. Oblivious to Prarthna’s discovery, Vihaan proceeds inside Raunak’s home and greets the family. Kranti, delighted to see him, praises Vihaan, considering him a blessing to the family as he is soon to become their son-in-law.
Determined to uncover the truth, Prarthna follows Vihaan inside the house. Meanwhile, the Sangeet celebrations continue, and Sneha and Vihaan take center stage for a dance performance. Their lively dance is followed by another performance featuring Raunak’s family members.
While navigating through the house, Prarthna spots Vihaan’s driver and immediately recognizes him as someone who works for the modeling agency boss. Her suspicions deepen, prompting her to secretly follow the driver. She manages to overhear a private conversation between the driver and his boss, confirming her worst fears.
The driver warns the boss that a police raid on their hideout may be imminent. He expresses concern that law enforcement may soon uncover their illegal activities—specifically, how they force girls to wear revealing outfits and participate in questionable advertisements. Vihaan, visibly irritated, reprimands the driver for discussing such matters in the open and orders him to handle the situation.
Prarthna is left utterly shocked, finally realizing that Vihaan, the soon-to-be groom, is running a corrupt modeling agency that exploits women. The weight of this discovery urges her to act immediately. She resolves to inform Raunak about Vihaan’s true nature before it is too late.
Meanwhile, Vihaan, still unaware of Prarthna’s knowledge, contemplates his marriage. He reveals his true intentions, admitting to himself that he is marrying Sneha purely for financial gain. He makes a smug remark, emphasizing that his decision to marry has nothing to do with love and everything to do with securing wealth.
Before Prarthna can confront Raunak, he takes Vihaan aside and brings him before the family. Raunak’s family announces that they have learned of Vihaan’s upcoming travel plans. Since he is set to leave for London in the second week of the month, and the wedding was initially planned for the third week, they have decided to advance the marriage. They inform Vihaan that the wedding will take place the following day instead.
Vihaan is elated by the news, seeing this as an opportunity to seal his financial future even sooner. He expresses his excitement and thanks Smita and Kranti for making this decision.
As Prarthna attempts to reach Raunak to reveal the truth, she is intercepted by Gayatri, who pulls her away. Gayatri then begins to share something with Prarthna, delaying her attempt to expose Vihaan’s deception.
