Jhanak 4th March 2025 Written Update: Arshi’s Baby Swap

Jhanak 4th March 2025 Written Update: Arshi’s Baby Swap. Today in Jhanak written update, the episode kicks off with Shrishti and Vinayak arriving at the hospital, where they realize that only Jhanak has shown up from the Basu family. Jhanak explains that the rest of the family is busy with Choton and Mrinalini’s reception. Shrishti, as usual, has something to say and wonders why Shubh and Tanuja didn’t come. Jhanak subtly claps back, saying that Shrishti’s presence is more than enough. Shrishti, in a rare moment of reflection, claims she’s Jhanak’s mother too, to which Jhanak reminds her that this realization came a little too late.

Meanwhile, Vinayak plans to call Anirudh after confirming Arshi’s operation. Jhanak informs them that Arshi is stable and that the operation is happening today. She then sends them off to sit, possibly to keep them from interfering too much.

Elsewhere, Choton checks in on Anirudh, who confirms that Arshi is stable. Mrinalini wonders if Arshi is alone in the hospital, but Choton reassures her that Jhanak is with her. This, of course, doesn’t sit well with Bipasha, who jumps in to spread more conspiracy theories about Jhanak’s intentions.

On a completely different note, Jhimli is caught up in her mess with Anindo, who is now trying to sell himself as a software engineer. Jhimli, in her usual sharp manner, demands proof of his degree. Anindo, who wasn’t prepared for this level of interrogation, freezes before pretending to take a phone call. The guy just keeps digging his own grave.

Back at the Basu house, Shubh casually announces that he’ll visit the hospital tomorrow, only for Anirudh to remind him that by then, everything will be over. Mrinalini expresses disappointment that no one bothered to support Arshi. This sparks another round of family arguments, with Bipasha going full drama queen, accusing Jhanak of using the situation to get closer to Anirudh. Anirudh, fed up, shuts her down, stating that he knows Jhanak better than they do.

Meanwhile, in an unexpected twist, Appu spots Jhimli in a car and immediately causes a scene by screaming her name. Lalon and Kajol also notice her, while Anindo, sensing trouble, speeds off. Jhimli, now visibly panicked, asks Anindo why he took off like that. He casually reminds her that she stole money, so if they get caught, she’s in deep trouble too. Kajol, showing some quick thinking, calls the police.

Shrishti, in another surprising moment of self-awareness, tells Vinayak she regrets not telling him the truth earlier. Vinayak, however, isn’t fully convinced and tells her to take responsibility for Jhanak’s career. She agrees but complains that Jhanak isn’t letting her do anything (as if she has a great track record of support). Vinayak decides to intervene, but the moment is interrupted when he sees Kul Bhushan calling Shrishti, instantly triggering his jealousy.

Later, in the Basu house, Dadi is impatient about the hospital updates, while Aunt suddenly remembers to ask about Mrinalini’s whereabouts. Tanuja informs them that she’s resting. Aunt then shifts her focus to Jhanak, questioning why she’s even at the hospital. Anjana throws a fact cue, reminding everyone that Jhanak is Arshi’s sister.

At the hospital, Nurse Sunita is prepping for Arshi’s operation when she gets shady real quick. She assures a mysterious man that she’ll “manage everything” (which is never a good sign). Soon, Arshi gives birth, but the nurse swaps the baby. Yep, classic drama escalation.

Precap:

Nurse Sunita informs Jhanak that Arshi’s delivery is done, but the baby is in critical condition. Jhanak rushes to Anirudh and informs the same.

Review:

  1. Shrishti’s sudden motherhood realization: Oh wow, what a touching moment—it only took her how many years to accept Jhanak as her daughter? Maybe by the time Jhanak turns 80, Shrishti will remember her birthday, too.
  2. Anindo’s software engineering scam: Bro thought he could get away with just vibes and no degree. Jhimli isn’t buying it, and neither are we.
  3. Bipasha’s endless paranoia: At this point, she should start a detective agency. She’s convinced Jhanak is plotting something 24/7. If only she applied this energy to something productive.
  4. The baby swap twist: Of course, because no Indian drama is complete without at least one stolen/switched baby.

Jhanak 4th March 2025 Written Update Review:

The episode had a solid mix of family drama, emotional manipulation, and unexpected chaos. While the hospital scenes had a decent buildup, the baby swap twist felt forced and predictable. Shrishti’s sudden desire to make amends was a little too convenient, and Bipasha’s obsession with Jhanak is getting repetitive. On the brighter side, Jhimli’s subplot added some much-needed variety.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)

It was a decent drama, but the recycled tropes dragged it down.

Best Dialogue:

Jhanak to Shrishti: “Aapko maa banne ka realization aane mein thoda zyada time lag gaya na?”
(Translation: “It took you a little too long to realize you’re my mother, don’t you think?”)
