The latest episode of Anupama was a whirlwind of emotions, lectures, and a few unintentional comedic moments. As usual, Anupama found herself in the middle of all the chaos, issuing orders and ensuring that the wedding of Rahi and Prem went smoothly. But did it, really? Let’s dive into the details.
A Morning Full of Commands and Scoldings
Anupama, the self-proclaimed command center of the Shah household, was in full form as she instructed Paritosh and Ansh to drop Prem off. However, Prem, in a bid to assert his independence, confidently declared that he would go by himself. Bad move, Prem. This was the equivalent of challenging Anupama’s supreme authority, and of course, she did not take it lightly. Scolding him with the energy of a disappointed school principal, Anupama once again proved why no one dares to argue with her.
Amidst the ruckus, Rahi stepped in to apologize to Anupama. She explained that she had only gone outside because she saw Prem standing there. But Anupama wasn’t going to let her off the hook that easily. Bringing up Anuj for added emotional weight, she reminded Rahi that she was Anuj’s trust and shouldn’t be taking things so lightly. If anything had happened to Rahi, Anupama dramatically declared, she wouldn’t have been able to face Anuj – or his picture. (Yes, because that photo frame in the corner of the room truly holds the power of judgment.)
Rahi, ever the persistent one, kept asking for forgiveness. Anupama, proving that she loves a good guilt trip, asked her to go and sleep instead. Apparently, a good nap is the best form of atonement. To everyone’s surprise, Rahi responded to this by breaking into a random dance. (Truly, nothing says “I’m sorry” like a sudden dance break.) The Shahs, ever so sentimental, got emotional watching this spectacle, as if they had just witnessed an Oscar-winning performance. Meanwhile, Kinjal took a deep breath and reminded everyone that, yes, the wedding day had officially begun.
Anupama 6th March 2025 Written Update: Lovebirds, Sibling Rivalries, and Unexpected Flirtations
Rahi, unable to contain her excitement, called Prem. But Prem, still salty about the previous day, was in full brooding mode. Thankfully, Rahi had enough charm to cheer him up, and the two lovebirds quickly switched gears, getting excited about their wedding.
Meanwhile, Parag was busy giving himself a gold medal in parenting. He proudly declared that he was more of a brother to Prem than a father. Khyati, in a savage mood, was quick to point out that at least people still remembered that he was a father. Ouch. Parag, clearly not expecting such a burn so early in the day, was left speechless. However, the tension quickly dissolved into playful flirting. Khyati, ever the optimist, believed that once Rahi joined the family, she would fix everything. Parag, on the other hand, continued his existential crisis, wondering if Prem even saw him as more than a distant relative. At this point, someone really needs to hand Parag a self-help book.
As the day progressed, Khyati managed to cheer up Prem, proving that she, too, had some influence over the groom-to-be.
Anupama’s Emotional Breakdown and Rahi’s Stunning Look
In a classic Anupama moment, she stood in front of Anuj’s photo, pouring her heart out and asking for his blessings. (By this rate, that photo might as well be listed as a supporting cast member.) Kinjal, ever the practical one, advised Anupama to spend time with Rahi instead, promising to handle the wedding preparations.
Meanwhile, Ishani and Pari helped Rahi get ready. When Anupama saw Rahi, she was stunned. (We assume it was in a good way, but with Anupama, one can never be sure.) Pari then requested Anupama to give Rahi a final touch-up, as if her approval was the ultimate seal of beauty certification. Anupama, ever the sentimental one, declared that Rahi looked pretty.
Rahi, however, was more concerned about whether Prem would also look good. Enter the flashback sequence: Rahi had once told Prem that she would wear Anupama’s wedding outfit on her big day. Prem, always eager to earn brownie points, had asked Anupama if he could wear Anuj’s wedding outfit as a blessing. Back in the present, Prem sent Rahi a picture of himself wearing the outfit, leaving her all heart-eyed. But she also took the opportunity to remind him to respect his parents just as he respected Anupama and Anuj. (Talk about multitasking!)
The Wedding Festivities Begin, But Not Without Drama
The Shah family was in full praise mode as they admired Rahi’s bridal look. Meanwhile, over at the Kothari household, jaws were dropping for a very different reason. Prem had dared to wear Anuj’s outfit, and this was apparently scandalous. Baa, who never misses a chance to cause unnecessary drama, made it her mission to make Prem wear a turban. But Prem, determined to keep things traditional, insisted on following the rituals. He then put the spotlight on Parag and Khyati, asking them to perform the ritual. Both of them were caught off guard but complied, probably realizing they had no other choice.
Afterward, Prem went around collecting blessings like a diligent student gathering signatures on a petition. Meanwhile, Anupama and Rahi got emotional, missing Anuj once again. Pari, realizing that Anupama was getting too lost in her thoughts, reminded her that Leela was looking for her. This snapped Anupama out of her trance, but not before she declared (once again) how much she missed Anuj. And just like that, the episode came to a close.
Precap: More Drama Incoming
If you thought this episode was packed with emotions, the upcoming one promises to up the ante. Anupama will welcome Prem, but the real trouble will come in the form of Gautam misbehaving with Prathana. Ansh, proving that he isn’t just a background character, will step up to protect her, only to get hit by Gautam. However, in true Anupama fashion, our leading lady will step in and deliver a well-deserved slap to Gautam. (Cue dramatic background music.)

While the wedding preparations added a festive touch, the never-ending lectures and emotional breakdowns could have been trimmed down a bit. But then again, would it really be Anupama without them?
