The dramatic revelation is delivered with the subtlety of a brick to the face, yet Rannvijay still looks as clueless as ever.
Milind further reveals that Vani has been writing about her father on a scarecrow in the fields, which is equal parts adorable and tragic. At this point, Rannvijay finally starts putting two and two together, recalling Vani’s questions and her written musings. Milind doesn’t hold back, accusing Rannvijay of shattering Vani’s heart and refusing to step up as her father. The guilt trip hits hard, making Rannvijay weep like he just realized he left his phone on silent during an important call.
As the realization dawns, Rannvijay remembers all the sweet moments with Vani and spirals into a fit of dramatic sobbing. Milind doesn’t sugarcoat things—he flat-out calls Rannvijay unlucky for being blind to the truth. To top it all off, he drops the ultimate bombshell: Vaiju is leaving Bhoomipur with Vani and Sunita. This sends Rannvijay into full panic mode, and he bolts like a man possessed to find them.
Meanwhile, Vaiju is on a bus with Sunita and Vani, debating her decision while Sunita advises her to rethink it. Just as Rannvijay arrives and spots Vaiju sleeping, he sneaks in and picks up Vani, grinning like he just won a prize at a carnival. Vaiju wakes up to this nightmare and promptly shuts it down, insisting he cannot take Vani without her consent. The two get off the bus, Sunita watching with the patience of a saint.
Rannvijay, still in denial about the sheer audacity of his actions, demands answers. “Am I Vani’s father?” he bellows, as if the truth wasn’t just smacked across his face. Vaiju finally explodes, screaming a resounding “YES” before collapsing into tears. Rannvijay, in an Oscar-worthy moment, embraces Vani with a victorious smile. Vaiju, understandably furious, reminds Rannvijay that he had the nerve to remarry while she raised Vani alone. But he isn’t hearing any of it. He smugly takes Vani away, ignoring Vaiju’s heart-wrenching pleas. As she screams that she will get her daughter back, Rannvijay is too busy basking in his newfound fatherhood to care.
Back at the Mohite Patel house, Vasundhara demands an explanation. Rannvijay, now suddenly a proud and responsible dad, states that Vani will stay with them. Enter Vayu, who innocently thanks Rannvijay for “adopting” Vani. Rannvijay promptly shuts him down because Vani is sleeping—as if suddenly having parental instincts makes up for years of absence.
Jaya, meanwhile, looks like she just witnessed a UFO landing. As Vaiju arrives at the Mohite Patel house to take back her daughter, she is met with a wall of police constables. They refuse to let her enter, following orders from—guess who?—Rannvijay, who arrives in the most villainous fashion possible. Just to twist the knife, he orders the officers to take Vaiju away, leaving her and the rest of the family utterly stunned.
Precap: In a move that could only be described as karma working overtime, Rannvijay will soon discover that Vayu is actually his long-lost son from seven years ago. Oh, the irony. Get ready for the next round of dramatic revelations and questionable parenting decisions.
