Bhagya Lakshmi 9th March 2025 Written Update. Today in Bhagya Lakshmi, the episode kicks off with Shalu spotting Malishka at the hospital. Malishka, in true villain fashion, tries to sneak away, hoping to avoid any confrontation. But Shalu, ever the detective, catches her in the act and demands to know why she’s bolting after seeing them. Malishka, trying to act innocent, denies that she was trying to leave because of them. Classic guilty behavior. Shalu, not one to let things go easily, grills Malishka about her presence at the hospital. Malishka, proving she’s the queen of lying on the spot, claims she’s there for a routine checkup. How convenient. Shalu then tells her they are searching for Lakshmi because the police informed them she was seen at the hospital that morning. Before Malishka can cook up another excuse, Shalu leaves to continue her search.
Meanwhile, Shalu stumbles upon an unconscious nurse lying on the ground. Because nothing screams “suspicious activity” like an unconscious hospital staff member. Being the quick thinker she is, Shalu sprinkles water on the nurse’s face, reviving her. As the nurse starts regaining consciousness, Malishka, in full damage-control mode, calls up Balwinder. She orders him to bring a welder to the hospital. Because, apparently, when you want someone to disappear permanently, welding doors shut is the go-to strategy. Balwinder, at first, shows a rare moment of common sense and refuses. But Malishka, an expert manipulator, turns on the emotional blackmail. She probably sheds a fake tear or two, and of course, Balwinder, who can never resist Malishka’s tactics, eventually gives in.
Meanwhile, inside the cold storage, Lakshmi is hanging on by a thread. Her body is succumbing to the freezing temperatures, and she is on the verge of passing out. But just as she’s about to lose consciousness, she has a vision of Rishi, who, in the most dramatic fashion possible, pleads with her to wake up for the sake of their baby. This, of course, gives Lakshmi the strength of a thousand suns, and she forces her eyes open. Summoning every last bit of energy, she starts banging on the cold storage door, praying someone will hear her. While she fights for her life, Malishka stands outside, vowing to make sure Lakshmi doesn’t make it out alive. This woman truly wakes up and chooses villainy every single day.
Back with Shalu, she asks the newly revived nurse what happened. The nurse, still groggy, explains that someone attacked her and knocked her out while she was on her way to the cold storage room. Shalu, instantly suspicious, realizes this means someone is definitely hiding something. Meanwhile, Rishi and Ayush, still on their mission to find Lakshmi, show her photo to different nurses, hoping for any clue about her whereabouts.
Balwinder, on the other hand, has successfully sneaked into the hospital with the welder, all while carefully avoiding Rishi. Because, of course, this man only has one useful skill—dodging people at the worst times. Inside the cold storage, Lakshmi, aware that she might not make it, starts praying. She begs God to protect her unborn child, showing once again that even in the worst moments, she prioritizes her baby’s safety over her own.
Balwinder finally delivers the welder to Malishka. She wastes no time and orders him to weld the cold storage door shut. Because apparently, locking someone in a freezing room isn’t enough—you have to make sure they have no chance of escape. While they’re conspiring, one of the nurses finally gives Rishi and Ayush a clue. She tells them that she saw a woman in a nurse’s uniform who looked a lot like Lakshmi. Ayush, being the problem-solver he is, offers to pay to check the CCTV footage. Because when all else fails, bribery always works. One nurse refuses, but another, proving that not everyone in this hospital is useless, agrees to help them.
Back in Malishka’s world of poor decision-making, the welder suddenly gets cold feet and backs out, refusing to go through with the job. Apparently, even professional welders have more of a conscience than Balwinder. Malishka, absolutely furious that things aren’t going according to plan, lashes out at Balwinder. She blames him for bringing an unreliable welder and then reveals that she has locked the unconscious nurse in a room. Because if you’re going to be a villain, you might as well go all in.
Balwinder, seeing Malishka’s growing frustration, decides to take matters into his own hands. Determined to finish the job, he takes money to the welder and buys the welding machine himself. Yes, you read that right. Balwinder, who probably doesn’t even know how to spell “welding,” has now decided he’s a professional and is about to handle the situation personally. If this wasn’t so evil, it would almost be comical.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi, still stuck inside the freezing cold storage, continues to pray for a miracle. She knows that her only hope is for Rishi to find her before it’s too late. She clings to the belief that God will protect her and her baby, even as her body continues to grow weaker.
And just like that, the episode ends, leaving us hanging. Will Rishi and Ayush find Lakshmi in time? Will Balwinder actually succeed in welding the door shut, or will his lack of intelligence finally catch up to him? And most importantly, will Malishka ever learn that her plans always backfire? We’ll have to wait and see.
Bhagya Lakshmi 9th March 2025 Written Update: Upsetting Twist
The episode unfolds with Shalu growing suspicious about who might have rendered the nurse unconscious. She senses foul play and is soon confronted by Ayush, who questions her sudden disappearance. Shalu urges him to listen, revealing that she caught Malishka at the hospital. Though Malishka insisted she was there for a checkup, Shalu finds her presence suspicious.
Meanwhile, Balwinder arrives at the basement cold storage, carrying a welding machine as per Malishka’s instructions. He proceeds to seal the door shut, trapping Lakshmi inside. Back upstairs, Shalu shares her concerns with Ayush, explaining that the nurse had been attacked while heading toward the basement storage. This leads her to suspect that Lakshmi might be trapped inside. Realizing the urgency, Ayush agrees, and they rush downstairs.
By the time they arrive, Balwinder has finished welding the door shut and has left. Malishka, satisfied with her plan, lingers for a moment but quickly hides upon hearing approaching footsteps. Rishi, Ayush, and Shalu reach the basement and immediately notice the freshly welded door. Rishi has an unshakable feeling that Lakshmi is inside and starts banging on the door. Realizing the cold storage temperature has been intentionally lowered, they know time is running out.
Determined to save Lakshmi, Ayush rushes to fetch a cutter while Rishi desperately begins cutting through the welded door. Malishka attempts to stop him, but he refuses to listen, convinced Lakshmi’s life is in danger. Eventually, Rishi breaks through the door and finds Lakshmi lying unconscious inside.
Meanwhile, at home, Rano approaches Dadi, informing her about the disruption caused by Anushka halting the engagement and Lakshmi’s sudden disappearance. She criticizes their decision to choose Anushka without proper verification. Dadi defends their choice, explaining that Anushka was Karishma’s friend’s daughter, so no further investigation was deemed necessary.
Back in the basement, panic sets in as Ayush checks for Lakshmi’s pulse but doesn’t feel anything. Rishi, filled with desperation, pleads with her to wake up. In a last-ditch effort, he performs mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, reviving Lakshmi just in time. As she regains consciousness, they immediately take her to a doctor for medical attention.
Watching from a distance, Malishka is left frustrated and defeated, her plan falling apart once again.
