Meghla tells Ranbir that she doesn’t know anything about her parents, and she is upset as she has always lived on someone’s pity. She feels she got married by pity. Ranbir tells her that she did pity on him by marrying him. She asks him not to say that. She feels she doesn’t deserve this respect. He asks her to share what’s bothering her. She tells him that she wants to know her past, parents and actual roots. Her query seems valid to him. She tells that she wants to know why her relatives didn’t try to find her. She wants to find her identity. He connects with her pain.
He asks her what will she do after finding out the details. She wants to be sure for once. He tells that Meher is upset too. He reveals about Iravati, Meher’s best friend. He adds that Meher wanted him to marry Iravati’s daughter. He thinks if Meghla is Iravati’s daughter and if Meher’s wish got fulfilled. He asks her not to get more involved.
