The episode begins with Isha getting ready for her first day at work. She is excited yet nervous, making sure she does not get late on such an important occasion. Sumitra, her mother, is in the kitchen, preparing a special meal for Isha’s tiffin—her favorite dish, dal tadka, with rice. Before Isha can reach the kitchen, she is greeted by her sisters, who shower her with well wishes, boosting her morale for the big day ahead. Their warm gestures make her feel loved and supported.
Meanwhile, Geeta enters the kitchen and notices Sumitra packing food. She catches the pleasant aroma of the dal tadka and immediately asks if Sumitra has used heeng tadka in it. Sumitra, with a smile, confirms that she has, as it is Isha’s favorite dish, and she wants her daughter to have something comforting on her first day. However, Geeta, in her usual authoritative manner, declares that Sunny and his father also love dal tadka, so it would be better if they get it instead. Without waiting for a response, she takes away the tiffin meant for Isha, leaving Sumitra in an awkward position.
Sumitra, still wanting to send something for Isha, is about to prepare sattu for her when Isha walks into the kitchen. She senses the tension and quickly assures her mother that it does not matter what she gets to eat, as long as it is packed with her mother’s love. She waits patiently while Sumitra packs sattu for her instead.
Meanwhile, Om is also preparing for his day. He wakes up and gets dressed, determined to move forward in life. As he gets ready, he approaches his father, asking to take on a certain responsibility. However, Acharya deliberately raises his voice and tells his wife to remind Om that he is fully capable of handling his own work and does not need any assistance. This leaves Om standing still, silent, as he absorbs his father’s dismissive attitude.
Elsewhere in the house, Gayatri and Jagdish are seated at the breakfast table, waiting for their meal to be served. However, Gayatri quickly grows impatient. She turns to her mother-in-law and complains about the daily morning drama in the house, expressing her frustration over someone or the other constantly talking about finding a job but never actually doing anything productive. Jagdish, on the other hand, attempts to pacify her, reminding her that despite the chaos, they are still a family and should be more understanding. Gayatri, unwilling to back down, admits that while she acknowledges they are family, she does not have the time to waste on unnecessary drama every day.
Meanwhile, Om notices that his shoes have been repaired. He immediately realizes that his father must have done it, though he never explicitly mentions it. Instead of confronting him, Om asks Anjali to pass on his gratitude to their father, choosing to acknowledge the gesture indirectly.
Later, Om arrives at an office for a job interview. He accidentally bumps into Shivani, who happens to be the CEO of the company. However, she does not reveal her identity to him just yet. Instead, she casually asks for his CV, saying she will take it inside and present it for review.
Back at Isha’s home, she prepares to leave for work. Before stepping out, she seeks her mother’s blessings, cherishing this small but significant moment. Just as she is about to leave, Dilip, her father, tries to give her some pocket money. Though Isha insists that it is not necessary, he insists, wanting to provide his daughter with some financial security for the day. However, before she can accept it fully, Geeta intervenes, snatching the money from Isha’s hands. She condescendingly remarks that it is impractical to give such a large amount so early in the morning and only hands Isha fifty bucks instead. Dilip is visibly frustrated by this but chooses not to argue.
Isha steps out of the house, reflecting on her situation. She considers taking an auto to work but quickly realizes that if she spends all her money on transportation, she will struggle to manage her expenses for the rest of the day. Making a practical decision, she opts to take a bus to the hotel instead, even though it might take longer.
Upon reaching the hotel, she hurriedly makes her way inside, anxious about being on time. However, as soon as she arrives, she is met by Gayatri, who coldly informs her that she is two minutes late. Though the delay is insignificant, Gayatri makes a big deal out of it, deeming Isha’s tardiness as highly unprofessional.
From that moment on, Gayatri makes it her mission to make Isha’s first day as difficult as possible. She assigns her a series of menial and tedious tasks, ensuring that her workload is unnecessarily challenging. Throughout the day, she continuously finds ways to humiliate Isha, treating her with blatant disregard. Despite the harsh treatment, Isha remains composed, refusing to let Gayatri’s behavior get to her. She perseveres, determined to prove herself no matter how many obstacles are thrown in her way.
The episode ends with Isha silently enduring the hardships of her first day while holding on to the hope that she will eventually succeed, despite the adversity she faces.
