Anupama 14th March 2025 Written Update: New Track. Today in Anupama written update, Rahi and Prem perform a veneration, trying their best to look like an ideal newlywed couple, while Prem internally calculates how long he can keep up the charade. As part of the act, Prem decides to give aarti to Gautam, much to the delight of the ever-plotting Khyati. She smugly thinks about how she instructed Rahi to convince Prem to be with the family, as if Prem is some lost puppy in need of guidance. Meanwhile, Vasundhara, never one to miss an opportunity to exert control, orders the staff to shift Rahi’s bags to Prem’s room and instructs Khyati and Meeta to assist.
Meanwhile, Anupama, the eternal martyr, sits missing Rahi like an emotional ticking time bomb. She dramatically monologues to Anuj’s picture, claiming she’s not crying while clearly being on the verge of a breakdown. The woman just sent her daughter off to her in-laws, not exile. She recalls how she was just with Rahi a few days ago, and now, boom, the girl is married and trapped in the Kothari household. Just as she starts wallowing in more nostalgia, Rahi calls her, only for Vasundhara to swoop in like a hawk, interrupting the call. Because why let a mother and daughter have a moment when Vasundhara’s controlling streak is in full swing?
Vasundhara doesn’t just stop at blocking the call—oh no, that’s too subtle. She goes a step further and instructs Anupama to distance herself from Rahi. Apparently, if Anupama keeps calling, it will make it harder for Rahi to “adjust” to the Kothari family, as if she’s some factory-setting machine being reprogrammed. And Anupama, the queen of self-sacrifice, agrees! Because of course, Vasundhara must be right, right? Who needs motherly instincts when an overbearing mother-in-law is there to dictate how a new bride should live?
Prem, meanwhile, welcomes Rahi into his room and immediately tries to turn on the romance, but Rahi, not in the mood for his antics, decides to get ready first. Somewhere in the Kothari household, Vasundhara is probably making a mental note to interfere in this aspect of Rahi’s life too. Meanwhile, Anupama waits for Rahi’s call, still under the impression that her daughter is “just busy.” Then, because drama must escalate, Anupama receives a mysterious call from a central jail of all places. Because why not throw a prison subplot into the mix? She decides she’ll check it out the next day, proving once again that her life is an endless saga of unsolicited responsibilities.
As Anupama’s dramatic self-indulgence continues, she suddenly remembers that Rahi might be hungry and, in peak mom fashion, packs a tiffin for her. Rahi, meanwhile, is busy getting ready with Meeta’s help when she stumbles upon said tiffin and immediately feels the need to call Anupama again—because why not? Leela, being the ever-nosy grandmother, asks Anupama how she feels after Rahi’s wedding. Anupama, instead of giving a simple answer, decides to launch into a nostalgic reflection, even dragging Leela into her sentimentality by asking how she felt when bidding farewell to Dolly. Leela, clearly used to these monologues, brushes it off and reminds Anupama that she organized a grand wedding, as if that somehow helps.
Rahi, still determined to have a conversation with Anupama, attempts to call yet again, but Prem interrupts her—again. This time, he decides to drop the act and tells Rahi that instead of acting like his wife, she should just continue being his girlfriend. Classic Prem. In response, Rahi throws him a curveball, demanding that he cook for her. Prem, being whipped already, actually agrees. Unbeknownst to them, Vasundhara is lurking, eavesdropping on their conversation because of course she is. Later, Prem tries to be romantic by gifting Rahi a sari and a framed picture of Anupama, an act so offensive to Vasundhara that she probably had an internal meltdown.
Back in the Shah household, Leela, the queen of unsolicited advice, tells Anupama to sleep, but Anupama has other plans—like fixating on the catering offer from the central jail. Leela, understandably, freaks out about the idea of Anupama getting involved with prison affairs, but Anupama reassures her. Because naturally, she must add another complicated issue to her already overflowing plate. On top of that, she’s also worrying about Gautam, because why not?
While Anupama is spiraling into another web of responsibilities, Vasundhara decides it’s time to stir more drama. She confronts Rahi, accusing Anupama of disrespecting Gautam. Because obviously, blaming Anupama for everything is a Shah family tradition. She demands that Rahi show respect to Gautam, to which Rahi, probably tired of the nonsense, flat-out refuses. She then pulls the ultimate manipulative move, accusing Anupama of trying to break the wedding. Classic Vasundhara move—when in doubt, make it all Anupama’s fault. She then gives Rahi a crash course on how to “carefully manage” her relationship in the Kothari family, a.k.a. how to survive in Vasundhara’s dictatorship. Prem overhears this conversation and is left shocked, as if this family’s melodrama is still surprising to him.

Anupama, proving yet again that she will take any philosophical detour available, reflects that since Lord Krishna was born in a jail, a prison can’t be that bad. Because of course, divine justifications are the way to go when taking up questionable catering offers. Meanwhile, Raghav, clearly needing an anger management course, loses his temper and leaves Anupama stunned. Because nothing says peak television drama like another angry man throwing a fit.
