GHKKPM 17th March 2025 Written Update: Rituraj returns. Today in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein written update, the episode kicks off with Tejaswini bluntly telling Neil that nothing can happen between them. Neil, forever stuck in his emotional flashbacks, recalls all their past moments and, in typical hero fashion, requests her to sing a song. Tejaswini, already drowning in her own issues, gets defensive, asking if he’s mocking her since he knows about her fragile mental state. Neil, ever the gentleman, assures her that no one will stop her from singing there, unlike in her own house, where music is apparently a crime. This takes Tejaswini straight to memory lane, recalling how Lakshmi had scolded her in the past for daring to have a passion.
Neil plays the good guy, telling her she can sing fearlessly. Touched by his support, Tejaswini suddenly develops a sense of gratitude, telling him she’s indebted to him. Neil, playing the “cool guy” card, tells her not to put it that way. She finally agrees to sing but, true to her tragic heroine persona, starts crying mid-performance. Neil, ever prepared, hands her a handkerchief like a true Bollywood hero. He drops some wisdom, saying dreams look better in the eyes, not tears. She apologizes for ruining his handkerchief, but Neil, already too deep in his feelings, says he’ll keep it forever. He then suggests heading home, considering her ever-dramatic family must be waiting to cause another scene.
Meanwhile, on the home front, Satish starts grilling Mukta, asking why Tejaswini hasn’t found a school yet. Mukta explains that Tejaswini is meeting the principal, but Satish, forever suspicious, wonders why she didn’t take Juhi along. Enter Lakshmi, who wastes no time throwing accusations, predicting that one day, Tejaswini will snatch everything from Juhi. Aditi, finally fed up, tells Lakshmi to shut it and stop acting high and mighty just because she got some money. Mukta tries to play peacemaker, reminding Aditi that they are already a burden on the family and hoping that once Tejaswini gets a job, things will improve.
But Satish, a certified patriarch, isn’t having it. He declares that girls shouldn’t work and that he will personally find a husband for Tejaswini. Lakshmi, never missing an opportunity to add fuel to the fire, questions whether Tejaswini will even agree to get married. Satish, in full dictator mode, states that she won’t dare disobey him. Because, obviously, a woman’s dreams and choices don’t matter in this household.
Cut back to Neil, who’s still processing Tejaswini’s earlier confession about someone else being in her life. Cue the sad version of the title track in the background as he drops her off. Tejaswini, realizing how deeply he’s affected, tells him to forget everything they talked about. Neil reassures her, saying he won’t breathe a word of it to anyone. As she hurries off, she mentions her family must be searching for her, while Neil, playing the tortured lover, says he never wants her to get in trouble because of him again.
Just when you think he’s done with his monologue, he drops another sentimental speech, reminding her that Mohit wanted her to be a successful singer. Then, like a true martyr, he tells her to ask her so-called lover to take her away and help her fulfill her dreams. Tejaswini, now completely lost in thought, recalls Rituraj’s confession. Neil, not done being dramatic, insists that she can never live peacefully without singing. He signs off by declaring himself her number one fan, to which Tejaswini, probably exhausted, remarks that he talks well. Neil, always in his feelings, responds that he speaks from the heart—hence, the emotional overdrive.
Satish, who has been lurking in the shadows, watches them and immediately jumps to conclusions. His blood pressure skyrockets as he storms into the house, already preparing for his next round of insults. He enters like a thunderstorm and starts throwing accusations at Mukta and Tejaswini, as if they’ve committed a major crime. Omi, who was minding his own business, gets dragged into the drama as Satish demands he make a decision right then and there.
Lakshmi, always eager for gossip, asks what Tejaswini has done now. Right on cue, Tejaswini arrives, only to be met with Satish’s interrogation. She quickly fabricates a lie, saying she was out searching for a school for Vedaan, but her nervousness gives her away. Before she can even process what’s happening, Satish delivers a slap across her face. Mukta, horrified, demands to know why he hit her, but Satish remains firm in his belief that she has defied him. And just like that, the episode wraps up with another round of emotional turmoil.
