Kumkum Bhagya 18th March 2025 Written Update: Smita insults Prarthna

Kumkum Bhagya 18th March 2025 Written Update: Smita insults Prarthna. Today in Kumkum Bhagya written update, the episode opens with Prarthna confronting Gayatri, accusing her of being scared of Vihaan. Gayatri tries to dismiss it, but Prarthna insists that she should have confided in her. Gayatri relents and promises not to hide anything from Prarthna in the future.

Meanwhile, Shubhvi questions Smita about her decision to invite a marriage broker. Smita reveals her plan to arrange Prarthna’s marriage. The broker arrives, presenting profiles of wealthy prospects. Smita, solely focused on financial status, picks the richest candidate named Raj and asks the broker to arrange a meeting with him.

Later, Smita tasks Raunak with collecting a bracelet from the jewelry store. Raunak and Harsh agree and leave for the errand. Around the same time, Kinjal visits Prarthna’s house, inviting her and Kishan to celebrate Holi in the traditional Mathura style. They accept the invitation.

During the celebration, Prarthna sings a devotional song dedicated to Lord Krishna, while the children dance joyfully. Smita, appearing pleased, applauds Prarthna’s performance but soon shifts the conversation to her decision to arrange Prarthna’s marriage. Smita expresses her belief that by marrying into a wealthy family, Prarthna’s burdens will be reduced. Kishan is initially grateful, unaware of Smita’s true intentions.

Soon, the highly anticipated groom, Raj, arrives. To everyone’s shock, Raj is an elderly man. Kishan, horrified, immediately rejects the proposal. Smita disregards Kishan’s concerns, arguing that Prarthna won’t find a better match. When Kishan challenges Smita’s logic, suggesting she marry her own daughter to Raj, Smita lashes out, accusing Kishan of disrespect.

Smita further accuses Prarthna of immoral behavior, insinuating that she tried to manipulate Raunak. She claims that Prarthna visited Raunak’s room in the middle of the night. Prarthna defends herself, explaining that she was on a phone call with Raunak when the call disconnected, leading her to check on his wellbeing. Kishan supports Prarthna, believing in her innocence.

Despite Prarthna’s explanation, Smita refuses to relent. She openly insults Kishan and Prarthna, questioning their morals and upbringing. Smita even goes so far as to fire Kishan from his job as the temple priest. Kishan, holding his dignity, firmly responds that Lord Srinath will ensure Prarthna’s marriage into a respectable family, a fate that will stand as a response to Smita’s unjust accusations.

Kishan and Prarthna leave the Zaveri house, their spirits unbroken, determined to face whatever challenges lie ahead.
