YRKKH 28th March 2025 Written Update: Sanjay finds the BIG truth. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the episode starts with Pandit Ji asking Ruhi and Rohit to eat the prasad. Manisha, ever the observant one, notices Ruhi hesitating. When asked, Ruhi dramatically claims she’s suffocating from the heat, which conveniently lets her dodge the prasad. Rohit, playing the doting husband, rushes her outside, leaving Abhira and Armaan to handle the divine snacks.
Manisha tells Kajal that Abhira and Armaan should have attended the puja. Kajal suggests that maybe they were sulking. Not one to sit idle, Manisha rings up the duo. Meanwhile, Sanjay, on his usual detective spree, notices Abhira and Armaan’s clever disguises and becomes suspicious. Because of course, a temple gathering is the perfect time for a little spy work.
Later, Rohit showers praise on Abhira and Armaan, calling them the best. Abhira, in a classic sister-in-law move, feeds Ruhi the prasad. Ruhi suddenly pulls a moral card, reminding Abhira that the prasad is for the baby’s parents. Abhira nonchalantly responds that she is a parent too. Just as the awkward tension peaks, Ruhi dramatically loses her balance. Abhira advises her to take extra care, and Sanjay, ever eager to stir the pot, silently vows to expose the truth.
Elsewhere, Kiara questions Charu about entering a mysterious room. Charu fumbles with a fake meeting excuse, but Kiara, playing detective junior, senses something is off. Despite Kiara’s reluctance, Abhir repeatedly asks her to pack her bags. Someone give the man a break!
Abhira and Armaan, blissfully unaware of the brewing storm, shop for baby toys. Vidya, the queen of assumptions, instantly believes they’re expecting a second child and is overjoyed. Meanwhile, Sanjay’s imagination runs wild, and he concludes that Abhira and Armaan plan to adopt Ruhi and Rohit’s baby. Without missing a beat, he decides to relay this wild theory to Kaveri.
Kaveri, clueless as ever, congratulates Ruhi and Rohit on their upcoming baby, further amplifying their anxiety. She even announces her desire to gift a ring to the baby. Vidya, still on her fantasy trip, suggests buying a second ring for Abhira and Armaan’s imaginary child. At this point, even the jewelry is confused.
Back to the romantic soap opera, Charu accuses Abhir of playing with both her and Kiara’s feelings. Abhir, probably wondering when he signed up for this soap opera, denies the accusations. Charu hides and weeps dramatically when Kiara appears.
Vidya, determined to shower Abhira and Armaan with blessings, stands outside their house like a guardian angel. Abhira and Armaan soon realize that Vidya’s joyous assumptions are far from reality. Cue the horrified expressions.
Meanwhile, Sanjay gets his hands on Ruhi’s IVF appointment details. Because what’s a family drama without a bit of unethical snooping? Shivani finds Vidya lingering outside like a misplaced statue and tries to offer comfort.
The family, in full celebration mode, presents a ring to Abhira. Despite their protests, the family insists they accept it, further cementing the chaos.

Abhira, Armaan, Rohit, and Ruhi brace themselves to reveal the truth. But just as they’re about to drop the bomb, Sanjay beats them to it, dramatically announcing Ruhi as Abhira’s surrogate. Not one to tone down the drama, he accuses Ruhi and Rohit of staging a grand sacrifice to be hailed as heroes. The Poddars and the Goenkas are left with jaws on the floor, and honestly, who could blame them?
