Today in Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha written update, the episode kicks off with paramedics and cleaning staff rushing into the hijacked plane, and guess who sneaks in with them? Meghla—because apparently, airport security is just vibes at this point. Ranbir, naturally, is shocked to see her, while Meghla casually flashes a smile like she just walked into a surprise party. Kiara, clearly not thrilled about this uninvited guest, shoves Meghla inside, making Ranbir even more anxious. Then, in a plot twist straight out of a bad action movie, Meghla suddenly claims to be Elias’s sister. Kiara, confused and probably wondering if she missed a major family drama, starts questioning her. Meghla drops another bomb, revealing that Elias has surrendered to the police and wants the hijackers to do the same. To prove her point, she whips out a photo of her and Elias like it’s some sort of golden ticket.
Kiara, being the smart villain she is, isn’t buying this random sibling connection and immediately pulls out her gun. Her goons follow suit, but before anyone can turn this into an action-packed mess, Ranbir seizes the moment and attacks one of the hijackers. Suddenly, it’s WWE inside the plane as all the undercover agents reveal themselves and take down the hijackers. The bad guys are arrested, and Meghla and Ranbir share a victorious hug, because what’s an intense hostage situation without a little romance?
After all the chaos, Ranbir showers Meghla with praise for her bravery. Meghla, ever the humble heroine, admits she was scared but credits Ranbir as her source of strength. Enter Deshpande, who congratulates both of them but also casually throws in, “I don’t know whether to reward Meghla or punish her.” Classic boss move—confuse your employees before delivering the good news. He finally laughs it off, tells them they can go home, and walks away like he didn’t just give them mini heart attacks.
Next up, our heroes face the press, who can’t get enough of their daring rescue. The journalists praise both Ranbir and Meghla and ask for their thoughts. Ranbir, the perfect supportive husband, gives credit to the government and his wife for saving everyone. Meghla, still on her “I did this for love” campaign, declares that everything she did was just to save Ranbir’s life. Ranbir, being the motivational speaker he secretly is, turns this into a TED Talk about Meghla proving her doubters wrong and encouraging other women to be fearless. Meghla, touched by his words, gets emotional—because what’s a public interview without a few tears?
Later, they meet some air force officers who congratulate them for their efforts. Ranbir once again takes the chance to hype up his wife, telling everyone about Meghla’s victory in a reality singing competition. Because why not? Saving a plane from hijackers and winning a singing contest? Meghla is basically a one-woman army at this point. The officers take a photo with them (because, of course, they need that selfie for bragging rights), and then Ranbir and Meghla finally head home.
Back at the Bajwa house, it’s celebration time. The entire family showers Meghla with praise and then turns to Zoravar, waiting to see if he still thinks Meghla is unworthy of Ranbir. Realizing he has no choice but to finally join the Meghla fan club, Zoravar declares he is now accepting her as his daughter-in-law. Meher takes this opportunity to remind him that all Meghla ever wanted was his love. Overwhelmed with regret, Zoravar has his dramatic moment of self-reflection, admitting he was wrong about both Meghla and Meher. The family reassures him, but before we get too many happy tears, enter Adrija—the queen of bitterness. Fuming with anger and jealousy, she makes it her personal mission to destroy Meghla’s life. Because why move on when you can dedicate your entire existence to ruining someone else’s happiness?
Just as Ranbir and Meghla think they can finally relax, trouble comes knocking. The police are searching for Meghla, and Ranbir, being the protective husband he is, warns her about a possible arrest. Meghla, channeling her inner martyr, casually says she’s fine with going to prison. Ranbir, understandably, is not fine with this and gets upset.
Before they can argue about Meghla’s sudden acceptance of jail life, the cops show up, saying the IG wants to meet her. One of the officers hints that an arrest might be on the table, leaving Ranbir utterly shocked.

Meghla meets the IG, who isn’t impressed by her heroics and instead scolds her for risking everyone’s lives. He also decides to run a background check on her to see if she has any connections with Elias. Meghla is left in shock, while Ranbir anxiously waits outside, probably mentally preparing his “free Meghla” campaign.
