YRKKH 8th April 2025 Written Update: Ruhi’s Sorrow

YRKKH 8th April 2025 Written Update: Ruhi’s Sorrow. In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update today, Abhira and Armaan are running on emotional fumes. Both are visibly shattered, but they pull it together for Ruhi, who thanks them for coming back home. When Abhira checks Ruhi’s fever and tries to comfort her, Ruhi drops a passive-aggressive truth grenade—she thinks they’re only being kind because she’s pregnant. Abhira, clearly hurt, asks if she really believes that. Still, she continues to care for her.

Meanwhile, Sanjay is busy stirring the family paranoia pot. He tells Kaveri that Abhira and Armaan will soon take over the firm and the house. Kaveri, the reigning queen of negativity, says nothing has gone right since the two returned. Sanjay worries about the firm’s future, but Kaveri is stubborn—Armaan will not be part of the firm again, full stop.

As Ruhi finally falls asleep, Abhira and Armaan have a quiet moment of mutual care. Armaan, being the ever-reliable cushion for broken hearts, sleeps beside Ruhi. Ruhi, lost in her thoughts of Rohit, ends up holding Armaan’s hand—cue Armaan’s stunned reaction. Abhira gently asks Ruhi to sleep and decides to take Daksh with her, making space.

On the other side, Abhir meets Charu and apologizes for ghosting her thanks to the ongoing Kiara chaos. Charu is chill about it. He learns that Abhira and Armaan are back home and starts spiraling with worry about Abhira. The two sip coconut water, but their hug is noticed by a shopkeeper, who promptly tattles to the Goenka household. Because of course.

At the Poddar dining table, things heat up. Kaveri notices a plate set at Rohit’s place. Manisha says it’s actually for Armaan. Kaveri, ever the opposition party, throws a fit. Vidya defends Armaan, saying he’s more than worthy to step into Rohit’s shoes. She even makes Armaan sit in Rohit’s seat, which pushes Kaveri’s buttons harder than ever.

Then comes the real stinger—Manisha wants to keep a plate for Shivani and Rohit. Kaveri flatly refuses, declaring Shivani dead to her (literally and figuratively). That’s when Abhira snaps. She calls out Kaveri’s hypocrisy and emotional cruelty, saying Shivani never got the respect she deserved in life—and even in death, Shivani would still forgive her. Abhira finishes her speech with a mic-drop line: Rohit will share his plate with Shivani, whether Kaveri likes it or not.

Later, Abhira tries to take Ruhi to the doctor but finds her sleeping outside. Ruhi says she was thinking about Rohit, and for once, Abhira doesn’t fight it. She just feels guilty for leaving her alone.

Meanwhile, Charu and Manoj try to knock some sense into Kaveri about the firm’s declining condition. But Kaveri stays stuck in her “Armaan can’t return” loop. She tells them to stop whining and work harder themselves.

YRKKH 8th April 2025 Written Update Precap:

Vidya wants Abhira to convince Armaan to return to the Poddar firm. Abhira refuses to pressure him. Vidya, though, is sure Armaan will be back. She takes the leap and asks Armaan to take Rohit’s place. Armaan is stunned. Abhira, on the sidelines, knows deep down that Kaveri is out of line for pushing Armaan into this.
