Bhagya Lakshmi 13th April 2025 Written Update: Shalu’s truth slip. Today in Bhagya Lakshmi written update, Karishma finds Rishi and Lakshmi crying. She goes to them and asks about the matter. She misunderstands Rishi when she hears him talking about his child. She tells him that his baby is fine and that he doesn’t need to worry. She adds that Malishka has gone to a cake shop as she was craving a cake. She jokes that the baby might be enjoying the cake, too. She adds that Neelam is ready to go home, and she is calling Rishi. Lakshmi appears upset. Rishi and Ayush bring Neelam and Karishma home, while Shalu and Lakshmi also wind up their work of the DNA test process.
Later on, Malishka comes home with Kiran. Karishma asks Malishka where she has been till now. Malishka gives her a rude reply. She says that nobody missed her the entire day. She is upset that no one asked her about her health, and now Karishma is showing fake concern. Shalu asks Malishka to watch her tone. She says that the family members didn’t know about Malishka’s hospital visit. She advises her to speak to Karishma gently. Malishka and Kiran are shocked when they learn about Shalu and Lakshmi’s involvement in the hospital episode. Shalu gets worried after giving an unintentional hint to Malishka. Malishka is certain that Lakshmi has done a DNA test to find her baby’s father.
Malishka’s tantrum could’ve won an award, if only awards were given for ‘Most Unnecessary Drama in Broad Daylight’. Shalu, trying to play peacemaker, accidentally tips off the secret DNA mission—sending Malishka into full detective mode with a side of paranoia. Kiran, as always, stands in the background like a decorative prop, occasionally echoing her daughter’s shock.
The episode moves like a rollercoaster powered by assumptions and sass. While logic took the day off, the drama department was clearly on double shift. From emotional misfires to accidental truth bombs, this one had it all—minus the actual results of the DNA test (of course, they’re saving that for another day).
Rating: 3.5/5 – Points for the unintentional comedy, Shalu’s truth slip, and Karishma’s bakery banter. Subtracted some for the classic soap move: giving us everything except the answer we tuned in for.

Karishma overhears Rishi’s words. She asks him not to get emotional, since his baby is going to come soon. She cheers him up by speaking of Malishka and his baby. Rishi sees Lakshmi and cries. Balwinder happens to come there and sees Rishi and Lakshmi. She thinks to not get scared of them. He doesn’t think they can cause any harm to him. The ward boy asks him where he is going. Balwinder lies to him.
Karishma tells Ayush that Rishi is okay but just worried about Neelam. Ayush doesn’t find Rishi fine. Malishka asks Kiran if she has found out who has got her admitted to the hospital. Kiran says no. Malishka finds something fishy. Kiran asks the matter. Malishka tells her that someone was following her car. She feels someone has deliberately got her to the hospital.
Malishka speaks against the Oberois. She gets mad. Kiran asks her not to go against Neelam, who always supported her. Malishka tells that Neelam shouldn’t forget her favors. Kiran asks her to relax. Malishka doesn’t calm down. Neil and Anushka get into an argument. She asks him to get out of her house. She tells that she likes Ayush and she is just thinking about him. She admits that she has gone mad for Ayush. She wants to ruin Ayush and Shalu’s Mehendi function. Neil calls her insane. She asks him to let her do anything she wants. Back at home, Harleen is upset that Karishma didn’t tell her about Neelam.
Karishma apologizes for not calling Harleen. Harleen asks Lakshmi why she didn’t inform her. Kiran takes Malishka home. Malishka jumps to argue when Karishma asks her where she was till now. Shalu says that nobody knew about Malishka’s hospital visit. Malishka gets alert. Karishma asks Malishka if she is okay. Rishi asks Malishka what happened to her. Malishka confronts Shalu. She asks Shalu how she knows about her. She suspects Lakshmi and Shalu. She says that Lakshmi has sent the women to attack her. Shalu lies to Malishka. Karishma asks Malishka why she did not call them.
Malishka says that she was unconscious after the attack. Karishma asks Kiran why she didn’t inform them. Kiran says that she didn’t know it either. Malishka argues with Lakshmi in anger. Rishi wonders what happened to Malishka that she is reacting so rudely. Malishka goes to her room. Harleen stays upset. Everyone apologizes to her. Malishka tells Kiran that she has to save her energy and focus on herself. She asks Kiran to handle Balwinder. Kiran says that Balwinder can become a problem for her. She asks her to relax.

Kiran visits Balwinder. She knocks on the door. He gets worried and recalls the IT raid. He is scared to open the door. Kiran gets inside and asks him what’s going on. He tells about the raid. She gives him money as he demanded it from Malishka. Anushka asks Neil what he is still doing in her house. Neil tells her that he wants to help her. She remarks that he just wants money. She says that she just wants love. Balwinder asks Kiran why she is giving him extra money. She asks him to leave the city for a few days and enjoy his life. Balwinder gets glad. He thanks her. She takes a leave.
Elsewhere, Neil says that Anushka has become a devil; she doesn’t love Ayush, she is an enemy of the Oberoi family, and she just has revenge on her mind. Anushka tells that she wants Ayush at any cost. Ayush tells Shalu that he is happy to have her along. She says that she is staying back for some work. He asks what it is. He tells her that he knows she is nervous. He cheers her up. He asks her to promise him that she will never hide anything. Shalu wonders how to tell Ayush about Malishka and Balwinder’s relationship.
