Jhanak 12th April 2025 Written Update: Breaking News from Team Tornado: Arshi Returns the Mangalsutra, Drops Mic on Anirudh
The drama quotient at the Bose household just hit boiling point, and trust us, the steam is real. In what could only be described as a mature breakup with a side of passive aggression, Arshi has officially let go of her claim on Anirudh — and no, not without getting a few verbal jabs in first.
Earlier today, Anirudh told Arshi that he overheard her cozy hospital conversation with Siddharth — you know, the one where love and second chances were flying around like confetti. With all cards on the table, he declared he no longer wishes to continue the marriage charade. “I want to live with Jhanak,” he stated plainly. Bold move? Risky move? Oh, definitely both.
Arshi, clearly done with the emotional gymnastics, didn’t protest much. Instead, she served some cold truth on a silver platter. She said she doesn’t need a divorce now (plot twist!) but is ready to give one anyway, because she finally realized Siddharth is the upgraded model of husband material. Ouch.
And in a moment of self-love and sass, she said, “I deserve someone like Siddharth.” Even Anirudh, defeated but respectful, nodded in agreement. Man knows when he’s lost the argument.
But Arshi didn’t let him go without reminding him that he cheated. She’s not exactly lighting candles for his happiness but claims she’ll be just fine without him. Oh, and she’ll make sure he knows she’s glowing and growing.
Anirudh, clearly packing his guilt and a duffel bag, told her, “I’ll be happy if you’re happy.”
And exit he did. Bag in hand, dignity semi-intact, and heart bit torn.

Choton shows up at Jhanak’s place, clearly caught off guard by Anirudh’s “surprise visit” plan. Jhanak, being the ever-gracious host, invites him for lunch. Choton, though, pulls a classic “I’ve got gossip, not appetite” move and tells her they’ll eat later. First, Arshi has packed up and left the Bose house. Jhanak gently asks about Mrinalini. Choton acts like he didn’t hear a thing. Anirudh nudges him for an answer, and the truth spills out.
Turns out, Choton has been hiding his whole exam-giving saga from Mrinalini. And now she feels let down, disappointed, and basically wishes she’d married someone who didn’t treat ambition like a dark secret. Jhanak, bless her optimistic heart, says Mrinalini might actually be proud if she knew. Anirudh isn’t buying it and says he didn’t expect this sneaky side of Choton. Choton defends himself—he claims Mrinalini just doesn’t get him, so he’s decided to keep his goals under wraps. Because, of course, communication is optional in marriage, right?
Jhanak hands him some water, probably wondering if the glass is enough to cool down this emotional spiral. Anirudh says they’re happy in their own little world—even if it means living in separate rooms. Choton, playing the relationship coach, tells them they look peaceful and should settle down. Then he’s hit with another twist: Arshi has agreed to a divorce. Jhanak subtly nudges him to fix things with Mrinalini, but Choton begs them to keep his academic exploits a secret. Classic “let me fix things by hiding everything” approach.
Meanwhile, in the land of high-stakes manipulation, Sarveshwar corners Bipasha about Jhanak being dragged into a bar by Chirag. Bipasha, acting innocent but clearly in damage-control mode, sends Anirudh to “rescue” Jhanak. Sarveshwar isn’t impressed with the act. Bipasha pleads for his trust like it’s a clearance sale, and surprisingly, he gives in—on one condition. Either she joins him in Banaras in ten days or finds a brand-new “Jhanak” replacement. Oh, and she better keep those monthly payments flowing until the substitute is found. A true businessman—emotions sold separately.
Back at the Bose drama house, Arshi makes a grand descent with her luggage like a queen leaving her palace. Tanuja asks if she’s heading to Shrishti’s, but Arshi’s like, “Not your business.” Shubh tries his hand at emotional guilt-tripping, begging her to stay so he can “fix everything.” Arshi isn’t having it. She reveals she’s already talked to Anirudh about divorce and wants it ASAP. Shubh, clearly living in another timeline, still hopes she’ll just stay and sulk around like it’s punishment enough.
Mimi jumps in with her usual spice, calling Arshi out for playing the victim while moving on with Siddharth. Arshi doesn’t even blink—she’s ready to swap husbands like apps on a phone. Anjana steps up for her favorite, Anirudh, but Arshi’s got her decision locked. When she reveals she’s moving in with Siddharth, even Anjana is taken aback. Shubh, still clinging to denial, pleads for seven more days. Arshi, done with the family circus, says she’s tired of being insulted and deserves better. Tanuja then hits a new low—promising to cut ties with Anirudh if he dares marry Jhanak. Arshi walks out, and Bipasha trails behind her with career advice about talking to Siddharth. Arshi, obviously not in the mood for job talk, shrugs it off.
Later, Siddharth welcomes Arshi like a prince awaiting his princess. Arshi, with all the dramatic flair she can summon, declares she wanted love from Anirudh but got betrayal instead. Honestly, girl’s living her soap opera dream.
Back at Jhanak’s, Choton gives Anirudh his seal of approval and even offers to talk to the family about their wedding. Jhanak instantly slams the brakes. She asks Choton to just bring Mrinalini over instead. Choton then passes the baton to Anirudh, asking him to talk to her. But Jhanak decides she’ll handle it herself. Choton leaves, wishing them happiness—hopefully without secrets and separate rooms next time.
