So, today’s episode served drama, sass, and a heavy dose of “wait, what is happening?” moments.
Abhira, our ever-generous sanskaari queen, literally opens the doors to her heart and room for Ruhi. “Come, carry my baby, drink this fennel water, and shine in my maternity glow.” But what does Ruhi want? Coffee. Yes, kaafi ka craving hai bhai, because apparently saunf water isn’t boujee enough for her palette.
Then comes the protective thread saga — it falls, and instead of saying “chalta hai, thread hi toh hai”, Kaveri goes full pandit mode. And Abhira? This woman GIVES HER THREAD TO RUHI. Yes. Our girl literally says, “No worries, take mine.” Maata Abhira ki jai ho.
Meanwhile, at the babymoon (because why not take your surrogate AND ex-love interest to a resort?), the receptionist looks at Ruhi and Armaan and assumes they’re the expecting couple. Classic. Cue awkward glances, a “mom-to-be” sash, and Abhira trying to smile through the pain.
Even the staff is like, “Wow, what a modern family!” while we’re sitting here thinking—this love triangle is starting to feel like a rhombus.
Fast-forward to yoga time, Abhira’s foot hurts (because of course it does), and she sweetly asks Armaan to help Ruhi. A few stretches later, Ruhi is giving intense “Rohit flashback” vibes and sipping coffee like she’s in a Karan Johar film.
But BAM — caffeine kicks in, drama explodes, and Ruhi faints. Moral of the story? Listen to the doctor. And maybe, just maybe, stop doing the opposite of what Abhira tells you?
