The Dots Will Someday Connect: An Uplifting Read for Anyone Facing Life’s Storms.

Kabir met Raghav on a quiet bench near the bus stand. It wasn’t planned—just one of those strange meetings life throws your way. Raghav looked tired—not just in the eyes, but in the soul. Like someone who had run a long race, only to realize he’d been running in circles.

“I’ve stopped believing in God,” Raghav confessed, unprovoked. “Stopped praying. Stopped hoping. Nothing makes sense anymore.”

Kabir listened. Silently. Genuinely.

“I did everything right,” Raghav continued. “I studied hard, I stayed honest, I respected my family. But life? Life’s been cruel. No job, no peace at home, constant anxiety… and I feel like everything is just slipping away. So tell me, where is this God everyone speaks of?”

A small silence hung between them. Kabir looked at him—not with pity, but with understanding.

“Let me tell you something,” he said gently. “Imagine today is Day 1. Something terrible happens—it stings, confuses you, maybe even breaks a part of you. You curse the sky and ask why.”

“But then, Day 5 comes. Something new unfolds—something that couldn’t have happened if Day 1 didn’t. Still, you don’t fully get it.”

“And then maybe on Day 100, you’ll look back and say, ‘Thank God for Day 1. That was the day my story truly began.’”

Raghav looked at him, unsure.

Kabir smiled. “Faith isn’t about having the answers. It’s about trusting there is one. God doesn’t always show you the script, but He never writes a bad one. Respect your parents. Cherish those who stand by you. And when life throws you off track, just keep walking. The path is still yours.”

He stood up and gently placed a hand on Raghav’s shoulder.

“The dots will someday connect.”

Then Kabir walked away, lost in the crowd.

Raghav sat there a while longer. The world hadn’t changed. But something in his heart had—just a little. Enough to look up again. Enough to hope.

Author’s Note:

Life can feel overwhelming, especially when we face challenges that seem too heavy to bear. But trust this—God’s plan unfolds quietly, even when we don’t see it. Our struggles, our setbacks, and our pain are never wasted. Each step, even the painful ones, shapes us into who we are meant to be. It’s not always clear in the moment, but in time, you’ll see that every experience is part of a greater design. Keep the faith, hold on, and trust that God’s timing is always perfect. Sometimes, we only understand the purpose of our journey when we’ve walked far enough to look back and connect the dots. Until then, keep walking, with faith in your heart.
