The Bhootnii Release Date Delayed: Sanjay Dutt’s Horror Comedy to Hit Theatres on May 1, 2025. The makers of the much-anticipated horror action-comedy The Bhootnii have decided to push the film’s release date. Initially slated for an April 18 release, the Sanjay Dutt-led film has been delayed due to extensive VFX work that the filmmakers are committed to perfecting. With a focus on delivering a top-tier cinematic experience, the new release date is now set for May 1, 2025. The decision follows positive reception of the trailer, which has already garnered significant attention and excitement from fans.

The Bhootnii: A Genre-Crossing Adventure

The trailer of The Bhootnii introduces viewers to a film that blends eerie supernatural themes with comedy and action. Directed and written by Sidhaant Sachdev, the film features an eclectic mix of spooky visuals, fast-paced action sequences, and lighter, humorous moments. While the trailer doesn’t give away much about the plot, it offers enough of a glimpse into the film’s intent to create a genre-crossing experience. The narrative promises to mix thrills, laughter, and action in an unexpected yet engaging way.

Sanjay Dutt plays a ghostbuster for the first time, a role that has excited both him and his fans. “I love comedies. The Bhootnii is a good mix of horror and comedy. In fact, horror comedy is one of the toughest genres to crack, but when I heard the script, I felt it had the potential to entertain. I was attracted to my role as Ghostbuster Baba. It was a lot of fun to play a character with such mass appeal,” he said.

The Cast and Crew

Alongside Dutt, the film features a talented ensemble cast including Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwarii, Aasif Khan, and Beyounick. Presented by Zee Studios, Soham Rockstar Entertainment, and Three Dimension Motion Pictures, The Bhootnii is produced by Deepak Mukut and Sanjay Dutt, with co-producers Hunar Mukut and Maanayata Dutt. The film will be released worldwide by Zee Studio on May 1, 2025.

Stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches and the excitement continues to build!
