YRKKH 15th April 2025 Written Update: Armaan Comforts Abhira. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, Abhira decides to be the good guy and visit Ruhi at the hospital. But of course, life throws a speed bump. She asks the hotel to send her a car, but the staff probably confused “urgent” with “eventually.” So she settles for an auto. Halfway through, it conks out—because of course it does—and now our girl is sprinting to the hospital like she’s in a dramatic Bollywood climax.
At the hospital, Armaan is in full “worried husband but not really her husband” mode. He’s praying for Ruhi and the baby, acting like he’s in a medical drama. The doctor calls him in and proceeds to mildly roast him: “You didn’t know she can’t have coffee?” Ruhi sheepishly confesses she had a sneaky cup, probably thinking one coffee wouldn’t kill the drama, but here we are. The baby’s heartbeat is checked, and suddenly the baby is grooving to Armaan’s voice. Apparently, unborn kids also have favorite people now.
Abhira finally learns Ruhi’s doing fine and gets the most polite rejection possible from Armaan: “You can go back now.” Classic.
Elsewhere, in a subplot that feels like a LinkedIn update no one asked for, Charu and Manoj are sulking about losing a big client because Armaan’s been busy playing emotional ping-pong. Sanjay, as usual, loves dropping truth bombs, announces that Krish is joining the firm. Charu has a mini-meltdown because Krish was supposed to be their dancing star, not a lawyer. Krish, in the most Gen Z move ever, says “I’ve evolved,” and tells them his colleagues from his old job sabotaged him. Manoj tries to be the voice of reason, telling him not to kill his passion, but Sanjay overrides all that and hires him anyway. Oh, and then casually drops that he plans to boot Armaan and Abhira out—because who needs stability when you have power plays?
Back at the hospital, Armaan tells Ruhi not to drag Abhira into her mess. Ruhi, who suddenly remembers she has a conscience, admits she was wrong. They share a sentimental moment talking about Rohit, just in time for Abhira to walk in and politely tell Ruhi to stop being a walking stress trigger. Ruhi assures her she’ll behave and even shares the “baby heartbeat” bonding moment with Armaan. Abhira is understandably shocked—and probably internally screaming.
On another track, Abhir is worried about Kiara’s vanishing act. He asks Charu about her, and just as suspense builds… she waltzes in. When he tries to talk, she cold-shoulders him like he’s last season’s fashion trend. Abhir’s left standing there like a ghosted boyfriend.
Abhira, meanwhile, feels utterly left out—like the third wheel in a two-person stroller. She talks to the baby like it’s a friend she’s afraid to lose, asking it not to hate her. Cue Armaan, once again donning his knight-in-casuals armor. He helps her hear the baby’s heartbeat too, and gives her some much-needed comfort. Abhira opens up, admitting she feels invisible in all this. Armaan, like every emotionally unavailable man trying to sound profound, tells her to wait for the baby’s arrival. As the soft moment unfolds, Ruhi spies on them—because clearly, nobody in this show believes in privacy.
Precap Peek: Vidya questions Abhira’s weird fashion choice—slippers with formal clothes. Abhira claps back saying she’s doing it to support Ruhi’s pregnancy sacrifices. Meanwhile, Ruhi is sulking alone, thinking about Armaan. Probably plotting her next emotional stunt.
