Jhanak 16th April 2025 Written Update: Arshi’s Big Deceive. Today in Jhanak written update, the episode opens with Choton excitedly discussing the upcoming wedding of Anirudh and Jhanak. He enthusiastically mentions how he can’t wait to rehearse for the wedding dance, even jokingly commenting that he will celebrate Anirudh’s marriage in a grand manner. Tanuja teases him, pointing out how Choton is acting as if it’s Anirudh’s first marriage. Choton, not missing a beat, insists that he will make it a big celebration regardless. Anirudh, feeling the weight of the situation, shares with everyone that while his home has been full of struggles and pain, he is determined to come out victorious in the end. Meanwhile, Mrinalini takes Jhanak inside, as they prepare to address the next steps.
The following day, Anirudh and Arshi meet at a café to finalize their divorce. Arshi, still angry and frustrated, remarks that Anirudh seems desperate for the divorce. Anirudh admits that he wants the divorce because their relationship never truly worked out. Arshi, not holding back, blames Jhanak for everything that went wrong in their marriage. She accuses Anirudh of having an affair with Jhanak, but Anirudh counters, saying they were both unhappy even before Jhanak came into the picture. Despite their differences, Anirudh tries to offer a civil resolution, suggesting they remain friends, but Arshi rejects this idea entirely, stating it’s impossible. She quickly turns the conversation to their respective future plans, asking when Anirudh intends to get married. In turn, Anirudh questions her, asking when she plans to marry.
Arshi responds that once the divorce is finalized, she intends to marry Siddharth. She asks for the divorce petition, and Anirudh hands it to her. Arshi, in a reflective moment, mentions that she never thought she would reach this point in her life, signing the divorce papers. Anirudh, acknowledging his own shortcomings, admits that he failed to make their marriage work, but also points out that both Arshi and Srishti are partly responsible for the downfall. Arshi, defensively, points out that she always knew Anirudh would blame others. She also accuses him of never supporting her, but Anirudh responds that Arshi knew about the plans Bipasha had for Jhanak, making her just as wrong as Bipasha.
As tensions rise, Arshi snaps, asking Anirudh if he came there to prove she’s a criminal. Anirudh tries to calm things down, asking her not to leave in anger. Arshi, frustrated, believes Anirudh only wants her to sign the divorce papers. She insists that Siddharth takes good care of her, supports her career, and compares her choice of partner with Anirudh’s choice. She belittles Jhanak, claiming that Jhanak has no background or support. Anirudh counters, defending Jhanak’s worth by pointing out that both Jhanak and Arshi share the same background through their mother, Srishti. He reassures Arshi that just as Siddharth supports her, he will support Jhanak in her career and ensure she is happy. Arshi is unrelenting, telling Anirudh to stop talking and signing the divorce papers. Anirudh thanks her, and they part ways after a tense handshake.
The next day, Choton, still in high spirits, takes Jhanak and Anirudh to Mrinalini. He’s eager to discuss wedding preparations, and Mrinalini gently tells Jhanak not to worry about helping in the kitchen because she will assist Anjana instead. Mrinalini asks them when they should go for marriage shopping, but Jhanak hesitates, suggesting they wait for a more favorable moment. Choton reassures her that everything will be fine. Anirudh mentions that he has already submitted the divorce petition, but Choton, still in a carefree mood, points out that Jhanak doesn’t seem excited about the wedding topic. Mrinalini then turns to Anirudh, asking if Arshi is okay. Anirudh responds that Arshi is happy with Siddharth.
Jhanak, still uncertain about everything, asks if they should discuss the wedding at all before the divorce is finalized. She expresses her concern that Arshi might change her mind at the last moment. Anirudh tells her not to overthink it, but Jhanak remains practical and says she just wants to be cautious. Mrinalini urges Jhanak to calm down, insisting that nothing will go wrong this time. Choton tries to lighten the mood, suggesting that Jhanak might be scared, but reassures her that Arshi is with Siddharth now and won’t be coming back to Anirudh. Mrinalini adds that Jhanak shouldn’t worry, and Anirudh insists that Jhanak doesn’t trust him, which Jhanak denies.
Later, Jhanak and Anirudh visit Appu, who sarcastically teases Jhanak for finally remembering her. Appu refuses to talk to Jhanak at first, but eventually, everyone laughs as Appu reveals that Jhanak is about to become a family member. Jhanak apologizes, and Appu jokes around, teasing her about the wedding preparations.
Mrinalini shares the news that the marriage date has been fixed, and Bablu will be delivering the wedding invitations. Choton asks if Anirudh’s parents have agreed to the wedding, and Anirudh responds that they didn’t really have much of a choice in the matter. Kajol arrives with the news that Appu has started writing again, and Jhimli mentions that Appu has a program the next day, but she isn’t feeling well. Anirudh tells Appu not to attend the program, but she insists that she needs to work to build a house for Anuradha. Appu expresses her wish to leave Lalon in Kajol’s care when she passes, knowing that Kajol loves Lalon dearly.
The episode concludes with the family continuing to discuss their plans. In the recap, Arshi’s lawyer warns her not to go ahead with the divorce hearing, mentioning that Anirudh’s marriage to Jhanak cannot happen without a finalized divorce. Arshi, however, insists she wants everything to end. Siddharth suggests that Arshi should let Anirudh suffer before the divorce is finalized. Meanwhile, Anirudh assures Jhanak that he has found happiness and peace with her, and when she asks if he loves her this much, Anirudh reaffirms his feelings, leaving no doubt in her mind.
